Location: Montana | Another update! Things keep improving for my dad. He had more blood tests done on Friday, and the results are all going in the right direction: he's less anemic, his kidney function has improved (although not yet normal), his thyroid function has improved and some other tests came back with improvement but I don't remember what they are. His one doctor said they are just going to sit tight and do anything until they hear for sure what the urologist has to say, which is supposed to be the 1st of May. But the urologist already said they want to try to treat things medicinally before surgery. He's not out of the woods yet, so more prayers are appreciated.
So, thanks much for the prayers, I do believe they worked and will continue to work! |

Thank you so much for the prayers, and here's a quick update: My dad is pretty much back to normal. He will have to continue some medications and some at home treatments. But his one doctor said that he doesn't know what we do, but we should keep on doing it because now that my dad is on the road to recovery he hasn't seen anyone be more healthy than my dad. :) So thank you much for the prayers, I know they worked. We are seeing light at the end of the tunnel. :)
On a sadder note, one of my dad's friends, who is close to the same age, is projected to not live 2 months more. His name is Mark, and he has cancer that has pretty much perpetrated the inside of his body from his pancreas to his live to his lungs to his bones to his brain. You have been so kind to offer prayers, but maybe lift a few more up for Mark. He's lost a little more than 90 lbs. of weight. At the time my dad was going through his health issues, you would have thought Mark would have made it longer than my dad. How quickly things change. |

So so happy for your family and your dad. And adding his friend to my prayer list; you're right, you just never know what is around the next curve in our life. May God keep His hand of mercy on all of you. |

I want to thank everyone who asks for prayers on this board....it gives me an opportunity to pray for others needs and a realization that whatever I may be going through, I can not fathom what some of you have to endure. And a faithful reminder that For it is WITH God all things are possible. |
