Location: East Texas | If Dr said it was ok, then let them go. My perspective is different than most on here, but let them go. I know it is hard to be away from him, but take the precautions necessary for the trip and let him have a great time. |

| He's definitely going, and I know he's very much looking forward to it. I'd never want to deny my child happiness. I've talked to the dr again and he assured me everything would be ok, he's having another treatment a few days before he goes, so he will have his counts tested and hopefully they'll be good, like they have been plus he will be getting his antibiotic breathing treatment that day as well. I'm sure it'll be just fine. On a lighter note.. today I received a very generous and kind donation of a beautiful AKC silver lab puppy for our auction, and the breeder also gave us the option of getting a second pup for Jacob. He's BEYOND excited about this special pup coming! |

Yes! It's been an awesome Monday for sure. We also just received 3 breedings to some very nice studs for Jacobs auction! The outpouring of support and generosity has been mind blowing! I definitely hope to be able to pay it forward in the future! |

| Jacobs been feeling a little under the weather the last few days, and I caught a horrible cold on top of it! So we are laying low, I'm hiding in my room and when he needs something I put on my mask and tend to him. I hate not being able to love on him! Hopefully I'll get over this quickly. My husband is gone too, till Friday so I'm really leaning on my daughter for help with the all the critters. This is a terrible time for me to get sick! |

| We had an awesome day yesterday! Billy and I were able to take Jacob to his school for lunch and he got to play a round of kick ball with his classmates! Oh man, those kids were so happy to see him they all came running into the cafeteria after they got word Jacob was there, it was so cute! I'm not going to lie, I was fighting back tears like crazy, heck I'm crying now as I type this lol! It was so fun watching him smile, laugh, high five and run with his friends again. His teachers said word started spreading around campus that we were coming and they could hardly contain the kids in class, not just his class either, the whole school had to come see him, middle schoolers and high school too! We are all on one campus. I told Jacob, he was like a movie star lol! He enjoyed himself so much and I think that really lifted him up, just what we all needed!

Yes! His hair has definitely gotten very thin but it hasn't completely fallen out.. it's holding strong. He was determined to hang on to every bit. |

| I haven't updated in a while! Jacob is doing well..we had a very busy week. I took him to the park so he could play with his classmates that made the reward trip. He really enjoyed himself but he was plum wore out for a few days after all that fresh air! Today is a,very special day, it's his 9th birthday! He's having a select group of buddies over this afternoon for some party time. He's really looking forward to it too. We've got a few Dr's appointments this week for him and then he's off to Las Vegas, leaving Saturday and returning Monday. I'm a nervous wreck he's going, but I'm trying to stay positive and relaxed! I know he's looking forward to going but I'm just worried. |
