When I had dealings with her, which was several years ago!!! I believe she went by the last name of Carpentar, of Carpentar Quarter Horses in Council Hill, OK.

She is being sentenced on May 31 and her boyfriend Kenneth reece June 7th. She has been locked up this entire time. I will post again after those dates.
Glad these scum bags are off the street!!!!

Location: North of where I want to be | When I first contacted the detectives last year when she had my horse they thought we were just making things up that there was no way someone could do what she has to or that the horse community would come out with such force. I am so glad she has sat her a** in jail for the past year. I cannot wait to see what the sentencing is. |

Location: Fort Worth / Springtown | Are any of these pending Federal cases? Is the County jail a federal holding facility? Or is she being held for County charges...at least right now? |

I believe, from reading the previous comments, that she was detained on county charges and then investigators were compiling evidence to bring on federal charges. I think there was enough evidence on the federal side for her to not be granted bail and I believe they were waiting on the county sentence before starting the federal case and proceeding with federal charges. |

Location: In The Land of Cotton | Great news. People might not get back their funds but at least she is stopped.
Just think, the judge and prosecutor researched via the net and found numerous articles about her. Maybe all of you who have been shafted and kept this thread alive helped to stop her.

Location: Do I hear Banjos? | So glad she is now getting some of the comeuppance she richly deserves. Her attorney asking for leniency based on no criminal record in that county...That made me laugh. She has scammed folks all over the country...they just haven't been able to nail her until now. She looks so shocked to be given a prison sentence. I'm guessing she thought they would never stop her...that she would never have to answer for her crimes. |

| well, I started this thread and I can't thank all of you coming forward and posting how you were scammed. I truly believe this thread helped put her behind bars. Don't screw with horse people, we don't give up that easy. Here is the article.

That was what I was wondering. Weren't there charges in Texas? Hopefully, other states will still pursue their cases. |
