Jacob is doing fantastic. His hair is just about gone, the long hair, but you can see where the new growth is wanting to come in. This past weekend his baseball team held a fundraiser for him and we did the run the bases for Jacob, it was FREEZING but we had fun. He got to stay in the dugout with his team... all his team had custom jerseys on that said "Jacob Strong" on the back of them.. so cool to see! The coach of the team asked jacob if he'd be the assistant coach for the season! He obviously accepted the position lol! Such a loving community we have around us. He's playing baseball daily and I can see his strength coming back... we are due for another chemo next Wednesday.

Yes ma'mm! Either he or she got smart and they split.. I didn't get all the gory details other than she moved out and cleaned him out.. I can't even send the kids to his house until he can replace all the furniture. She took everything.. all the kids beds and furniture too. She didn't even leave a spoon. Oh well. Hopefully, everyone learned a lesson here. My daughter is much more relaxed and happier that person is gone, now she can work on repairing that relationship with her father (hopefully anyway) he hasn't really done much reaching out but I guess he's still kind of licking his wounds.

I hate your daughter is having to learn some of this adult mess at her age. Thru absolutely NO fault of her own. Chandler and Chris had a much different relationship after our separation/divorce, and the biggest part of it was the woman (I shall not use an ugly word, I shall not use an ugly word. . . ) Chris was with. That's a very boiled down version, but I'm sure you get the gist of it. Hopefully your ex husband will remember the most important things he should be concentrating on (your children) rather than those way-down-the-list things (I shall not say an ugly word. . . ).

Continued prayers and good wishes for all of your children and you and hubby.

The Benefit auction is this weekend. Is there any way we can get an item list and bid on line?

I honestly have no idea if that's even an option. I've had a few people ask me if there would items up for silent auction too. I'll have to ask the people that are doing the actual auction part. It would be nice to do though because we've got 3 really nice breedings up for bid and of course you're generous donation of the RG SR. A few tack items too. Let me see what I can do. I can't believe it's here already. Jacob has unfortunately fallen pretty ill.. he woke up this morning with a 102 temp and difficulty breathing... we spent majority of our day in the hospital getting antibiotics and iv fluids in him. They thankfully let us go home, but they had to leave his port accessed just in case we have to return. Knock on wood we wont! He's resting in his bed comfortably now. I'm really hoping he gets better in time for Saturday to at least make an appearance. Lots of people are looking forward to seeing him.

He woke up without a fever yay! But my younger son came into my room early this morning with a fever and vomiting ugh! Something is definitely going around. I've got my hands completely full! 2 puppies also needing constant attention, being taken outside every hour it seems lol! And waking us up all hours of the night. One will be gone Saturday though so it'll get a bit easier.

Here's our newest addition, Lena. She took right to Jacob as soon as we walked up the the puppies so I guess you can say she chose him. She definitely helped soften the blow of losing our good dog Scarlet on Sunday. But I think I forgot how much work these little babies are lol! We love her though, she's going to be a good one. My 4 yr old lab is really starting to come around and play more with them.. he's thankful.for the company... constant company lol!

We had a fantastic benefit for Jacob, our community and friends and family did not disappoint! It was so much fun to see everyone and hang out.. we had some amazing BBQ and entertainment and our auction was nothing short of AWESOME. Jacob is doing so well too! He's got 3 chemo treatments left and then we go in for a scan to see what we have. Which I just know, he will be given a clean bill of health! So many fun things came from the benefit.. As some know, we had a puppy in the auction... jacob was also given a pup to keep.. well, a kind soul bid on the auction pup and won her, immediately handed her back to Jacob. He had gotten a bit attached to her while she was here for a week. So yep, I've got 2 silver lab pups added into our family now lol! They are awesome dogs tho. We didn't get quite the horse people turnout but we had a large turnout at that! Win with RG was kind enough to donate a pallet of the RG SR to us for the benefit, we ended up selling quite a bit to the handful of horse folks! I ended up with the leftover bags so I'm excited to try it out on my 3. Several guns were auctioned off and immediately handed back to Jacob too lol! He made out like a bandit I'm telling ya! Such generosity and love we are surrounded by.
