Pure Victory Dash won the BFA Futurity not the juvenile it's at the same place but they are different ages when they run in those events! She was 4 and won it when it was her last futurity! Also her first baby IRA Grand Victory won 2 slot races this year for over $200,000! She is a wicked mare and so are her babies!!! I think they handled her well in the alley some horses just get more fired up the girls waiting on their turn can just stay back there until she goes in! I have seen much worse out there!

WrapSnap - 2013-12-05 11:39 AM Pure Victory Dash AKA Twisted Sister won the Juvenille at the BFA With Angie Grandpre, was trained by Bunt and has been owned by the Blanchards for some time. On the issue of her being bad in the alley, I actually thought they handled it quite well. Sydni stayed off of her until it was time for her to go and it seemed to me as though the mare was rather well behaved until that point. I certainly seen several other horses that girls have run repeatedly through the years come into the alley in much the same fashion.

 Agree..........

Thank you for correcting my mistake. Not sure why I had it in my mind that she had won the Huck instead of the Futurity .

I'm thinking the arena record is in jeopardy of going down several times this year!!! With this little mare being one of them to do it. Can you imagine what she is going to run with out the rope or what ever it was half way across her face thru the run??? THIS is gonna be fun!

Looked like a neck rope and he held onto the horse with a lead rope just looped thru.....that way when Sister was ready to go, he could just let go of one end.  Although during the run it looked like a white halter....I'll have to watch again tonight.

My biggest concern for any of the barrel racers is catching a leg on that end post or getting bodyslammed into the panel.  If that's what it takes to keep the horse & rider safe then have at it.

The last couple of horses shied away after the run out wonder what spooked them?
On a side note...I think(in pretend land) Twisted Sister and Rascal should have babies.

All horses are different...........they all have their quirks..........especially the good ones........are they worth it........heck yea if they are cutting off the clock and she did.........the only horses I have no patience and say not worth it are those that refuse going in and then don't cut the clock..........she wants to go.......!!!!  That set up for sure is not barrel horse wait friendly...........nothing like the holding areas most of us are used too..........

I'm guessing because IRA GRand Victory, her daughter, won the slot race at the BFA last year and that is for juvenile horses.

That would be my fear too. I have about hit myself a few times and I really watch those posts as we make a turn into the alley now.

If I remember correctly, that mare has always been hot in the alley, I think they used to lead her in w/another horse when angie run her, but its been a while so could be another horse/rider combo im thinking of....

she is wicked fast!  I'm a big chicken......i wouldnt care if she could win all ten days out there, I would be scared to death to crawl on her! lol.........................

I think Taylor and Bo are gonna be a duo to watch this wk! hes awesome!

Pure Victory Dash won the Futurity in 2008, FM Radio was second. Boogie Woogie Jones and Angie Meadors won the Juvenile that year. Angie Grandprie also won the BBR Finals earlier that year on Pure Victory Dash. She was sold through the Heritage place sale in 2010 for $50,000.

Currently it's 13.46 with Carlee Pierce.

Hard to say because they don't set the pattern exactly the same every year. Even in the WPRA official media guide they acknowledge that the pattern was different in certain years. The fastest time run in the T&M is Calree Pierce and a 13.46.

Not me!  That's dangerous not only to Sydni but to the other ladies, horses, and people down there in the alley.  She definitely can do it, but absolutely would not be worth it to me to deal with that crap in the alley.  Too many out there that you DON'T have to deal with that.  I can handle on the muscle, but that crap is outright dangerous.  JMO

Too many out there you don't have to deal with that??? How many of these in your opinion could run against these NFR horses??? Yeah since they are SOOO common lol
