hoofs_in_motion - 2013-12-12 8:11 AM Not impressed.........I'm sorry but I'm going to be honest here and you can flame away....the only two that I saw with a good riding ability was Barb and Marvel.

Also, hollaring like a wild thing isn't going to make your horse go faster

LOL!!! Darcy did scream the whole time!! I was laughing while she ran

My non-horsey husband looked scared to death at his first barrel race when everyone started screaming and hollering. He said "is this normal?"

I'm pretty sure my horses learn that if I say a bad word during a run, they better run like their tail is on fire, cause mama is mad. Ha!

Hahaha well.... the starting of the show the one girl stated that she was 1st in the nation... I did expect her to go in and blow the doors off.. but she was a second off the winning time, Darcy couldnt ride the paint off a stick horse but im sure she could yell it off with the way she screamed going around the barrels. I think that Barbs horse was really nice. What i didnt like is how it was projected, you cant tell me that barrel racers are all going to stand there waiting for each other when they are running late? ride in on a limo to the rodeo and change in the backseat the first 6 min into the show, and a little trip on second barrel & being a 23 seconds.....I appreciate that there is a show like this, i just wish it was more accurate.

I actually liked Marvel. She reminds me of someone I know IRL.

Did anybody notice the HORRIBLE acting/editing during the scene where Barb's grey horse gets stuck in the rope and Jessica is supposed to be "worried". You can see her look off to the side OBVIOUSLY for a cue, and then at one point she gives the phoniest "oh my gosh!" face.

I hate the way they edit the runs. Stop with the slow mo. Stop with the weird clips to the horses' feet.

Also, I choked on my eggnog when Marv said she was a top rider in the nation. Whuck? I'm not knocking her, I don't even have my card. But if you're going to put yourself on TELEVISION, you'd better have your facts straight. Especially if it is an outlandish claim like that, that any quick googling can disprove. Maybe it should have been.... "One of the top riders in the Northwest." Or "One of the top riders in the state." Or "one of the top riders in my circuit."

I haven't seen it so I won't comment

the preview made them look pretty scandalous, but I bet that was a lot of editing like any other reality show tbh

I didn't get to watch the entire show, but like with most movies I'm guessing they put the most "attention getting" scenes for previews. There's evident jealousy and drama between the girls, which is notorious when you have a bunch of women together!
