Location: Broxton, Ga | SKM - 2014-01-25 2:28 PM I haven't posted much about my daughter in quite some time as I had some rather nasty comments about bragging. So I took the hint and stopped posting much at all actually.
But many of you have watched The Kiddo grow up through BHW over the last 10 years. So those of you that are interested, I hope you will join us on the latest chapter of her rodeo experience. Those of you that aren't, I respect that and only ask that you send no ill wishes our way.
The Kiddo filled her permit last summer and stopped rodeo'ing because we wanted to start a new year as her being a rookie. So far, she has entered 3 rodeo's and drawn checks in both Topeka and Lincoln so she's 2 for 3 so far. She is sitting about 11th right now in the rookie standing but the other girls have between 12-13 rodeo's to her 3. She is up Saturday in the perf at Rapid City so please wish her luck. She is gaining confindence in her horse and her horse just keeps getting better and better. She's been drawing checks in really tough competition and she's still making some mistakes.
For those of you wishing to follow her journey and honestly want to see her do good, please find her on Facebook. Take The Cash Quick. We both believe she has an honest shot at winning Rookie Of The Year and she is focused on that goal. Please wish her luck in this exciting year.

She looks like she's loping and still clocks at the top lol. Everyone who has seen her in person is always shocked by how slow she looks but how fast she clocks.

How dare someone on a BARREL RACING web site be snarky at a BARREL RACING MOM bragging on her kid. I am just spitting about that!!
I do not do Face Book so cannot follow her journey so please, please, please keep us updated through BHW, isn't that what we are all here for?????

Lover of deceiving horses, they are so graceful. I hope she makes it a goal to run at Waco for the All American Finals, its a great rodeo. |
