Because it will set a precedent that we are no longer allowed freedom of speech. This PC correctness is getting out of hand. If someone was paying me millions to dribble a basketball they could call me anything they wanted. |

The guy is a racist jerk but when is it OK to decide someone cannot be in business because of their crappy personality??? Shouldn't the free market give the guy his just dues?? When did it become OK to force someone out because noone likes them even though they have not broken any laws/rules/contracts??? That is what bugs me. What about all the athletes who have commited crimes but are still being paid millions??? |

I agree with everything you just said but there is one caveate. The NBA franchises have a network of revenue sharing. If his revenues go down, so do the revenues of the others. If they do nothing, it also hurts the brand image of the NBA. That affects them all. |
