| HotbearLVR - 2014-06-02 11:41 AM I really wonder if there isn't more to this story. These 5 guys sound like very high level Taliban operatives. To me, that is very conspicuous. There are ways of implanting tracking devices in these men without their knowing it. Assuming this is the case, these guys could lead us to many other high level leaders. Maybe this sounds too far fetched, but the level of sophisticated technology that is being used by our intelligence operatives has to be mind-boggling. If these 5 can be tracked, it's not hard to imagine how useful that could prove to be.
I really can't imagine Obama being willing to do it though..........I think this is the most offensive , unbelievable, and indefensive thing he has done. CRAZY! I really think his goal is to bring America down |

| I love my country but I SURE do NOT love, nor trust the government who APPEARS to be batting for the other side. Sorry, but I think our prez is nothing short of a terrorist himself. |

Location: Kansas | Now our pathetic excuse for a president is in Warsaw, Poland, trying to explain to their press why he turned loose five high-level war criminals. He didn't bother to talk to our media but did add to his conversation that these five may very well return to terror activities. Good job Barack.
Interestingly, the far left lunatic Chris Matthews (yes I went crazy and watched MSNBC for five minutes) is totally outraged over this trade.

How Jay Carney Is Explaining Why the Berkdahl Swap Wasn’t Negotiating With TerroristsSpeaking Monday morning on CNN, White House press secretary Jay Carney was asked if the United States negoatiated with terrorists in releasing five Guantanamo Bay detainees in exchange for the release of Army Sgt. Bowe Bergdahl. White House press secretary Jay Carney (AP Photo ) Carney, not surprisingly said no, and relied on definititions to explain why.“He was not a hostage,” Carney said of Bergdahl. “He was a prisoner.”Carney, who is in his waning days as press secretary, noted that securing Berghahl’s release was urgent because of his deterirorating health after being in captivity for five years by the Taliban. CNN anchor Chris Cuomo asked Carney, “Why not just call this what it was? You negotiated with these terrorists because he is a prisoner of war and you have this pledge of leaving no man or women behind?”Carney objected to the characterization.“The fact is he was held in an armed conflict with the Taliban,” Carney said. “We were engaged in an armed conflict with the Taliban, and we have a history in this country of making sure that our prisoners of war are returned to us.” “He was not a hostage, he was a prisoner,” Carney continued. |

Carney, not surprisingly said no, and relied on definititions to explain why.
“He was not a hostage,” Carney said of Bergdahl. “He was a prisoner.”
Carney, who is in his waning days as press secretary, noted that securing Berghahl’s release was urgent because of his deterirorating health after being in captivity for five years by the Taliban.
CNN anchor Chris Cuomo asked Carney, “Why not just call this what it was? You negotiated with these terrorists because he is a prisoner of war and you have this pledge of leaving no man or women behind?”
Carney objected to the characterization.
“The fact is he was held in an armed conflict with the Taliban,” Carney said. “We were engaged in an armed conflict with the Taliban, and we have a history in this country of making sure that our prisoners of war are returned to us.”
“He was not a hostage, he was a prisoner,” Carney continued.

I thought when he was "taken" 5 years ago that he turned, he walked off post looking for them. The story was just too fishy. He's a turncoat, plain and simple. Now our treasonous Narcissist in Chief has traded this terrorist sympathizer for 5 of the scariest Taliban leaders? Really?
The worst part is the comments made by his father.......... Wow..... |

I think that dislike stalker needs to speak up and explain to us what part of these comments deserves the dislikes. I have not read one comment that defends Obama or Bergdahl, yet someone is obviously opposed to the negative comments against them.

| CYA Ranch - 2014-06-02 10:37 AM My husband and I talked a little about this topic this morning watching GMA. I either missed the part where he was a deserter or they didn't touch on that on the broadcast. If he was a deserter than I have a huge problem with this and the fact that 6 soldiers lost their lives looking for him plus they released 5? prisoners that we had in exchange for this guy. If he was a true prisoner of war then that would shed a little different light on this for me.
You aren't going to get all the facts by watching GMA. I can't stand Stephanopolis the weasel. |

I wouldn't put much stock in the "like"/"dislike" buttons anyway. I have a "dislike" stalker who would dislike my comments, regardless of their content.
If I said "God bless America" she would hit dislike. Ignore them. If you react, then they are amused, but if you don't react, they don't get as much satisfaction. |
