Lobo - 2014-10-15 9:16 AM According to the new's, there is now a second nurse infected and under isolation and obersvation.

Is the hospital providing the health care giver's  protection on the cheap?  Cover their neck with some kind of medical wrap.  Sure sounds like it.

You know, the CDC and WHO can only advise and provide guide line's.
Yeah, and it turns out she was on an airplane from Dallas to Ohio???  I think? Just heard a snippet. So those other 130-some passengers are now at risk.

This isn't going to stop until our narcissist dictator in chief grows a pair, and actually admits he screwed up and gets his people on board with prevention. Stop people from coming into the country. Too friggin' bad if someone is offended because they have to sit in a quaranteen room for a few weeks. There's way more important things than someone being inconvenienced.

The conspiracy theory type of my brain says it's all apart of his plan. Population control....

Population control at its finest. Biological warfare or his "health care" plan; one way or another he'll get er done.

I absolutely agree with you.  I can't think of a quicker way to spread it all across the country than thru airports.  Lets all go sit in a long metal cylinder with people from all over for a few hours....

It blows my mind how this has been handled, it's like the Keystone Cops- nobody knows what to do or recognizes the need to be more proactive.  I can't believe that the CDC didn't fly an experienced team to Dallas to handle Duncan when first diagnosed.

Our country is being lead by idiots....................

I asked someone today wondering why his family hasn't turned up sick...their answer.... "He KNEW he was infected...so THEY knew not to be in contact with him" ...kinda makes sense.

Again....the CDC and WHO can only advise and guide the hospitals.  If the hospital or state ignore or think they have every thing under control....CDC and WHO are SOL.

Can you imgaine all the brew-ha-ha there would be if the government told those states and hosopital's that they weren't doing it right and we're gonna take over? !

CDC and WHO has sent out flyers and e-mails to these hospitals for week's.  Evidently they were ignored.  From one deceased patient, there are now two of his caregiver's infected!  And one air headed enough to fly!

Of course, the public is scared and need someone to blame!

I think it's the first nurses boyfriend...works for a company with 22,000 employees and went about his daily business for a week before being "monitored". They can't catch it though, right!

I wonder if the 2nd nurse knew she had symptoms on the flight back? Maybe she wanted to be "in network" and flew home to Dallas.

From what I saw the plane landed at 8:16 pm in Dallas & she went to the hospital the next morning with symptoms.  I have a cousin that works in that hospital and knows several of the nurses that treated Duncan but thankfully she didn't work on his case or come in contact with them after having symptoms.  I also heard that the Mayor of the town that typically would take medical hazardous material is refusing to allow the waste to be brought in.

Thats it, my latex gloves are going on every time I leave the house! Grocery shopping, you name it.  Anybody could have gone to the restroom in either airport right behind this individual. Flushed the same toilet, and we all know you use the same flush handle and THEN go wash your hands. Least I hope but I always see people just walk out without washing.  Did this individual eat at the airport? Touched magazines? Then those at the airport get on flights heading God knows where.

Animals won't speak up, and they can't use social media to start a scare.

This is what I've been thinking along with stocking up on all necessities just in case. Might have to lay low for awhile! Preppers are looking pretty good about now!

I can't believe that nurse with everything that is going on, got on a plane. I thought they were suppose to be monitoring the people that were in contact with Duncan?  She should be charged if she lives. What a mess she has now created.

I agree......If one person contracts the disease from this person's actions, she should be charged with something.....I would think that ANY of the nurses, etc that were in direct contact with Duncan would have enough COMMON sense to quarantine themselves. She is an IDIOT !!!!

What it will take is one of the countries elected officials getting it or their family member getting it before they will do anything. they dont care about us common folk.  As far as the military he is sending in I have a terrible thought about that. Obama has never been a fan of our military what a nice way for him to get to downsize and weaken it by getting them sick.  I have feared from the start that he will be the one that will find a way to keep himself in office after his term is over.  If he can weaken our armed forces, trash the banking industry and have this country in dire straits he may get it done.

The second Dallas nurse to get Ebola is being flown to Atlanta.  What I want to know is what type of protective gear do the people tending to these patients in the airplane wear.
