I wish the BBR would monitor more closely where these races are held. Alcohol should not run a show and it is a poor representation for RFDtv to have such a caliber of a race held by a group that actually puts alcohol in its rules. OK...I think I have it figured out....this was in the rules of the Ohio American qualifier....I don't know these people, but their rules are very funny...I laughed because they were intended to be light hearted. I would say it was all written in fun and this person needs to lighten up and learn to take a joke...lol...here's a link for the rules.....http://ontheroadwithdawnandclea.com/rules-for-panty-raid-and-botb/
Rule I think she's referring to: "If you have a question or complaint you must bring $20 to the office or a 6 pack of beer for the office staff. If we determine it is a stupid question, you will owe both."
Sounds like they were just having some fun!
Are maybe some others did take is serious and when she went to the office a few cases of beer were stacked and then she thought the worst of the grounds people thinking they were all drunks, lol.. |

I agree with the others on the entry fee and being able to watch a steady stream of top performers run. This thing was put together for entertaining a lot more people than die-hard rodeo fans so it needs the best of the best athletes performing. How many fans do the Dallas Cowboys have versus the Dallas City League? OK, maybe that was a bad example.... |

I honestly don't know the questions because I didn't read past alcohol, but my answer to this question is because we're bored, I don't have cable and I'm on my third beer..... :) |

We are asking questions because we want to know why you feel the way you do about the american. Why are you unwilling to answer? |

No im not entering but who knows, I might in the future and from reviewing the results having a horse that can "hang" is not a prerequisite to entering...

I would like to see them all ran on a standard pattern for reference and only allow a horse to qualify 1 person.
What would you gals do differently?
Only qualify one horse, only one attempt allowed, and pick one race. If you don't make it the first time - too bad.
Your comments, Seriously?
If you cannot afford the entry fee, don't enter. For what people are winning in the qualifiers, the fees are appropriate.
The standard pattern, no other organization, runs on a standard pattern all year, why should the American? Makes no sense.
Only allowing one horse/rider one entry, it is still a jackpot, people make their living running barrel horses, why would you want to eliminate the competition, to allow the slower horses to qualify and win money at these races. It's absurd. |
