Location: OH | TwistedK--I accept full responsiblility for steering you in the Sun frost direction and also for nudging Whiteboy that way also, you both will find that it was the best move you ever made. Let me explain--I have been dealing with horses my entire life. Nothing was so frustrating aas starting a young one and finally getting them ready to run and them coming up sore or finding that their mind could not handle the pressure once you asked them for that little extra. About 17 years ago I started wondering what this Sun Frost thing was all about, was it just a fad because of Bozo or was this the real deal. The more I dug the more I liked---in the early 2000's we made a decision to base our breeding program around Sun Frost and Driftwood and adding our little outside blood into the mix. The results have been great. We are still in the early stages of out long term plans, but could not be any more pleased with the results plus the feedback we get from customers. A long the way we have gained lifelong friends in the Cowans, an added bonus---these are some really great people that kind of took us under their wing and really guided us well. Nothing thrills them more than seeing us succeed.

Location: OH | Also, wanted to add that even though I have messed with horses my whole life--I have no illusions that I am a top competitor nor will I ever be. I would like to be a good breeder though. |

For somebody without a lot of horse experience? Yes, they are user friendly. Just remember they're super smart and catch on real quick... It's good and bad, make sure you're asking correctly the first time!

Location: OH | Here is our other stallion MOE, PC Lonewood Special--he is by Lone Drifter and out of a Sun Frost mare. I went to pick up JJ when he was a baby and ended up coming back with Moe also, he was three at the time. That Tigh Cowan can be quite the salesman.

Location: siberia it seems | Ok, so I had a wonderful mare that I ran for years, but she was actually by Tiger Frost. Tiger Frost was also by Docs Jack Frost, but out of a mare called Flutewood who herself was by Orphan Drift. My mare was Miss Foxy Tiger and she was a true blessing to me. She was strong boned, big hearted, honest as the day is long and so reliable it was unbelievable. Due to wierd circumstances, I only have one baby out of her. This is a palomino yearling filly by Guys Piece of the Pie, who is by Sun Frost. Her name is BR Believe and I can already tell she has many of her mommas qualities and I am thankful. I also have a two year old gelding, French Sparks Flying, who is by a son of Smoke N Sparks and out of a daughter of Frenchmans guy, so he is also a grandson of Sunfrost. He is a tad watchy on the ground about people, he was this way when I purchased him as a yearling, but is improving all the time. I have 63 rides on him now and I am really starting to like him. He is feely and can really move around, and is not very spooky at all when i am on his back. I am starting to have high hopes for him. He is 15 hands right now and is very good boned and solid built. He has an elegant neck and head and will be a looker. I agree that you need to treat these horses fair and ask them right and you will really have something that will last a long time. I am sold on them! |

Location: SW Minnesota | Frenchman's Monte .... grandson of Sunfrost. He is massive but moves light on his feet and very smart. Probably one of the smoothest horses I've ever ridden.
He is one of my sons head horses.

Location: US | Here's my Sunfrost colt and I have a half sister to him. Stupid name and stupid brand but maybe he will make a horse with all the positive comments I have seen. What kind of turning style do they usually have? He has about 90 days and I am now riding him. So far so good ........
