| Did anyone catch the show this week? Although I have a lot of respect for what the Sgt does with training war/protection dogs I just didn't understand what it had to do with barrel racing. |

Let me guess, the were pushing an agenda with dogs that are used to trample peoples constitutional rights everyday? |

| I bet it was because there are 3 times as many dogs as there are horses at barrel races. Ties right in to me. |

I did not see it. Did it have anything to do with a sponsor maybe? I am not sure of the big sponsors for this show. Was it anything to do with k9forcops or whatever and Schiller Ranch? |

Nope. Dena has a protection dog and she was getting some tips from this trainer. It may have been at least watchable if the trainer was better. I would guess he is very good at his job but has trouble teaching others. I felt like he was confusing Dena. He had never touched a horse and Dena taught him how to halter a been there done that mare then he finally haltered a two year that was high strung, Meh. I want to see anything to do with barrel racing! |

Location: Where I am happiest | There are alot of very talented trainers and competitors going up and down the road. Surely there is a deep pool to draw from for this show rather then dog training and in all honesty, I wasnt all that into the excercise episode either. |

Me either. It's a great show when it is about barrel racing and trainers. More please! |

Location: Missouri | I didn't enjoy the dog episode but the exercise episode is very much necessary for those of use in the barrel racing industry. I think more girls need to be in better shape. You can't expect to win if you don't have dedication to eating and exercising yourself. |

Location: South Dakota | I would enjoy a little more indepth coverage of the ups and downs, that a top level barrel racer goes through....how they deal with all the travel...getting parked...getting their horses settled in...what do they do to prepare for the run...the warmup...how they deal with a bad run... I think Dena is outstanding as the host, they just need to get to the nitty gritty of barrel racing, it seems like they are just scratching the surface...hoping they keep up with the series, and look forward to great watching on RFD! |

Location: The Oklahoma plains. | I agree with everyone on the Dog Training issue-- not a great show IMO. But the one thing I found interesting on the exercise show (otherwise non informative IMO)- was that Ryanne (sp?) said she felt she wasnt as naturally talented as most riders so she wanted to use exercise as a competitve advantage to stay in the middle. Honest it seemed and I appreciated that. |

I heard her say that too. She said she wasn't as athletic as a lot of girls so she had to make up for it with strength. I thought that was interesting. I love the show. Was not a fan of the dog show though. I fast forwarded through most of it. |
