Not exactly. It was never said that God the father laid (physically) with Mary. But Mary did become pregnant after never being with a man. I can't explain in words how it all worked out, but I can't explain how a human being was created in the beginning either. |

Do you have some official doctrine you would like to share with me, maybe they came out with this new declairation. lol

Location: N Texas | The more I think about it, the less it bothers me about the incest aspect, and the more it bothers me from a pedophilia standpoint. A four-year-old girl loses contact with her father, and (I'm just assuming here), grows up without a strong father-figure in her life. Twelve years later at the age of sixteen, her father reaches out to her to renew their relationship. He hasn't had contact with her in 12 years, so they don't have the strong father/daughter bond that typical parents and children have. They're essentially strangers. She comes to visit him, he sees her as a young, naive, impressionable child. Someone who he knows won't question his authority, and he manipulates her into believing that what they're doing and feeling is ok.
Of course it's just speculation, but it's really not a stretch.
So that's what really bothers me about it, a grown man preying on a teenager who can't comprehend the weight of her actions. |
