I was around before equal money.. and that was a different story then the 'billboards'. My point really is that some people may not like flashy, some people may not like commercial, etc - as long as nothing that shouldn't be showing isn't it is up to the riders. And since there is an opportunity to vote on the look at the NFR - I guess enough people liked the flashy enough to have Fallon win. I don't think she really had any competition in this area this year. If next year the person who wears it has a 'Smithsh Brewery', 'Jeps Feedmill' and a 'Grand Poohbah Casino' patch on all their shirts - then that will be the opinion of the voters and they will win the award, hey maybe they will figure out a way for the patches to have fringe!!

I would much rather see Fallon's crazy outfits then some low cut shirt with tata's hanging out!! There were a couple ladies, I won't name names, that used to wear the super low v neck shirts at the NFR!! That was something I did not appreciate.

This^^^^ I can remember thinking "that outfit should be left for the bedroom!" I think she even won best dressed that year!

As I see people complaining about Fallon's wild style, all I can think is at least it's not lingerie!

Someone is going to have to tell or pm me the names of the girls wearing the low cut shirts at the NFR a few years ago.

Just got back from Vegas....what a blast! Fallon did deliver on fashion I loved the fact you could see her from any point in the arena. Have to give her some credit....passed by her booth at the Cowboy Christmas and the girls could not keep the space stocked. I watched in amazement and thought she is a marketing guru.

I thought the mohawk was cute.
The "reason" seems like a stretch to me.
Not saying anything negative, I just don't get it.

Nevertooold - 2015-12-12 12:30 PM I prefer Callie DuPerier's statement. She has the money to wear whatever she wants and instead protrays the look of a real cowgirl. She wears a hat she has had for years, has worn the same shirt for more then one perf, wears her hair in a braid and has no make up on. She is pure class in and out of the arena and it sure doesn't bother her when she doesn't win. She is her friends biggest cheerleader. She is what I would want my kids to admire.

 Callie is a class act!

rockette - 2015-12-13 5:15 PM Just curious if Callie is going to sell Dillon? I am also curious if Sherry will buy Arson. Time to think 2016! Merry Christmas!
In an interview, they said Dillion would never be sold and this will be his last home. They went on to say that Dillion loves to be home.
I thought that when Carlee Pierce sold him to the DuPeriors she said when Callie is done with Dillon he will come back home to her.  I wonder if  she is regreting selling him now that he is the world champ?  I sure would!! :)  Did I read she thought he was to old and wanted to concentrate on younger horses?

Dillion isn't going anywhere. Many times both Callie and her dad, Trip, stated that they would never sell him.

Love Callie's instagram post.

Wow, I can't even put into words the feelings I'm feeling right now! This year has been so amazing and a dream come true and I couldn't have done it without all... of the support from everyone! Thank you to each and everyone of you that has been behind me this whole time! There are so many people that played a role in making my dreams come true and I couldn't thank yall enough! Thank you God for all of the blessings you have given my family and I. I am so thankful to have the opportunity to have such awesome horses and great family and friends that support me in whatever I do. This will definitely be a year to remember and I can't wait to tell my 5 kids about it and let them sit on Dillons back!

I just love her! I know a little about her story from a friend and I just really am glad she won it. I am glad Dillon has her, too.

How come we can trash Fallon's personality, dress, business ideas and head gear, but we can't say anything about the way anyone rides?

Personally I don't care what they wear.  If I dont' like the way someone dresses, uhhh, I don't dress like them.

Its funny, I have seen people get on here and try to "Protect" other riders....."Oh, she is very sensative, Oh these things will hurt her feelings, You can't say that, she needs her confidence built up, not torn down".

Some of the same people said those things that are trashing Fallon now.

Did people talk this way about Jolee L, when she was running at the NFR?  I don't remember but I remember her making a run or two in outfits I was suprised by.  I remember her running with a feathered boa.  Were people upset by that?  I wasn't really on here back then, just curious.

Fallon may be a marketing genius (and there's absolutely nothing wrong with that!) but I think that she also has a huge heart and is a good role model to all of the kiddos that look up to her.  While visiting her booth at Cowboy Christmas on Friday, she walked up carrying a little girl who was there for her "Make a Wish" - her one wish was to meet Fallon.  She gave her all kinds of goodies from her booth and spent a good amount of time with her.  Both my husband and I were in tears and it still makes me tear up now just thinking about it.  I personally like her style although I am very plain and don't like to stand out.  To each his own

seems to me that Lindsey Sears caught a lot of grief on here too about her shirts and how "unwestern" they were.

I think FT was a prude. Too much was covered. I look forward to the day when some of the local trends I've been seeing at jackpots catches on. I can't wait to see some cowgirl at the T&M with a tube top and low ride/butt crack jeans. That would cause a real swell in voter support for best dressed.
