Location: Cocoa, Florida | I grew up in Orlando, this hits me hard as I've been to many downtown Orlando clubs, and gay clubs (they always had the best entertainment). I can't imagine what the families are going through.
I got out of Orlando after college, to congested, to many people, to much crime. But this is beyond anything I've ever seen before, I can't even scroll through social media, every person being interviewed, the families and victims.....just brings tears to my eyes.

Location: East Texas | We had in our community last week, 4 beautiful high school girls killed in two separate wrecks with PEOPLE who decided to get drunk and drive. I am still waiting for outrage and talk of banning alcohol and vehicles. Oh, wait... I guess that ain't gonna happen. Guns, like alcohol and vehicles, come with a huge responsibility, but banning them is certainly not the answer. We all need to be more vigilant about people, like this guy, who had already exhibited (per his x-wife and co-workers) extreme violence and rage. Don't tell me that someone didn't know what this guy was capable of. |

If I remember how they put it, because of the hour, most people (supposedly) have left. Therefore they don't check people coming in at that hour. The fact FBI had him on their radar, makes me question the FBI.

| My stomach hurts over this. Plus, I keep thinking of the uproar a Christian recieved when he refused to bake a cake for a gay wedding. The outrage on social media was severe. Now you'd think today, we'd have all Americans of all parties having a field day over this. It's crickets about the man's belief, its all about guns, guns, guns. I have never been a name caller, but honestly, you Liberals to probably no fault of your own, have been brainwashed. Badly. It's okay to scream outrage over someone that isn't White, Christian or a CEO.

I heard that too about the door being blocked, but it turned out that the man blocking the door was one of the people of the club, he was worried that there was another shooter in the ally so he was blocking the door so the shooter could not get in, but it turned out there was no other shooter in the ally. |

I thought of this also. Christians taken to court and the public outcry bc they wouldn't bake a danged cake. But no such outcry here, and these people either lost their lives or suffered bodily harm. I don't get it.  |

Last night on 2020, they mentioned, one time, that a security guard for the club shot at the "shooter".....but that was the last I ever heard about him. People have to remember that this went on for about 2-3 hours.....he didn't shoot them all at once. He hunted some down! |

I hope that my son returns to TX and to our little one room school house with the gun toting teacher. My granddaughter deserves to learn in peace and have a good shot at college acceptance. 99% are accepted into their college of choice. Love our teacher! |
