However, I've been lurking since pretty much the beginning. I had my start on Horse City shortly after the migration. We were not allowed to even mention BHW over there for a while after. Threads would be locked/removed, members banned. Crazy. I've noticed a trend here, as others have. I haven't been posting or even checking in like I used to. ETA: Wow, after a second look at my join date I realize that today marks my 8th year here, exactly. Holy cow why was that?
I think because it was a competitor?? All I know is I got banned  |

I've been over here for 10 years... many of the original members were here when I had my first daughter, my divorce, etc... I consider them family and friends. Not only that, I've learned so much from their knowledge. I'm ready to take this board back over. The negativity and petty BS and a few certain members need to either be banned or put on a restriction. Seeing how many personal attacks there are on here at any given time makes it seem like grown ups are teenagers who are hiding behind their keyboards. It's time to pull your big girl panties up and deal with it.
i think one reason that the board has been taken over is; after you have been here a while you have seen it all and stop posting.
I mean how many times do we want to post our remedy to the same old problem? so threads started by us old timers do not get any attention by other old timers, and the only threads that get any attention are filled with drama.
so basically we get pushed out. "out with old, in with the new" such as life....

I rarely post anymore...just got a bit crazy in here and I ended up trading in all my bits (I did way too many bit threads lol) for chef knives. But I still lurk and on the rare occasion I will post...I think the last post I did was on Kay Blandford losing Llave |

I bought a gaited horse for trail riding and have done some traveling and plannin on doing more.
I don't get on here much, but I do lurk some.
