Then don't judge SouthTXPonyGirl. 
She was only looking out for the ones who got stiffed last year.
Her question was a fair question and was asked in a nice way. SouthTXPonyGirl is one of the nicest, most welcoming people here but be warned she will ask the questions everyone is thinking but are too chicken to ask themselves.
Now, as far as the gift exchange goes, I've already made two purchases and I can't wait to hear how everyone else's purchases are coming! I am so excited to be participating!   |

In all fairness, I think STXPG was just worried about a "new" BB (first post) signing up and was questioning her. In the past there have been some very disappointed people because people have signed up and then disappeared (not saying that justgasinit will do that)....I know Roxie, personally, and she has a heart of gold. I don't think that she EVER meant any "ill will" and hopefullly, justgasinit will not take it personally! JMO !!!! Good Luck to all and hope you all get GREAT gifts !!!!! and make NEW friends !!!! |

To many others in the past gift giving had been cheated out of their gifts. Not a good feeling so I dont think its really fair do youRunninfor$?
she may have been a long time lurker and finally made an account, may have an old one she doesn't use anymore, or may just be excited and signed up! In the spirit of the season let's give her a shot before we trash her please ladies? This is why we have emergency elves, lets say you feel like you're going to get "grinched" let the bhw secret santa head santa know! That's why they are there, have done that before myself and everything worked out fine. 
ETA: for whoever said she stalked her on Facebook, maybe just send her a PM and say hey to begin with before we all start talking like the new BB doesn't exist.
Sorry if I sound grouchy it just makes me sad, we have enough to be sad about in our daily lives and this little exchange is always one of the highlights of my holiday season and would hate to see someone get crushed simply because of a misunderstanding.

Oh hold up---STPG is one of the sweetest, most welcoming and loving folks on this board. I think some folks got "taken" (for lack of a better word) last year and she's probably referencing that. She has a heart the size of her state. . . .
Hoping it all works out for the best for everyone this year!!! I had my hands full this year so couldn't do it, but loved it last year. Merry Christmas and happy shopping for everyone involved

You can send your gift(s) to your SS buddy anonymously, and let them guess who you are, or you can let them know who you are. It just depends on however you want to do it. :) |
