CYA Ranch - 2016-11-29 7:04 AM What show did you guys watch and is it being played again?
It was Sports Relgion on the Audience channel on Direct TV

Is the AUD Channel on DISH? If so, what number is it? Thanks.

does anyone know if you can watch it online anywhere?

There's an international live stream but I don't think it's available in the US.

I'mlost - 2016-12-01 10:23 AM Has anyone seen the pics of the saddles the girls get? I always enjoyed drooling over them!

The girls are getting their saddles today.  The banquet is going on right now, so i hope soon we will see who got which saddle. I always look forward to that as well.

winwillows - 2016-12-01 10:03 AM I had a meeting with Sherry last night, and she said that Stingray stayed home, and she will be running Arson. She said that Stingray is fine, and healthy.

Stingray didnt seem like her normal self in the Thomas and Mack last year, couldnt seem to find her groove.  Sherry did most of her qualifying this year on Arson so good to see him get the chance to prove what he started last year when he won round 10 with the fastest time of the NFR.

Just watched the Religion of sports episode. Someone mentioned they got the impression that Ivy Conrado seemed bratty. I cant help but completely disagree. What I seen was a girl who only started riding at 17 to make her dad proud. Her dad even says "we made it to the NFR" When she wasn't placing or doing perfect she seemed to become very upset with herself as if she was letting her dad down.

On another note: I had no idea Stevi hilman trained previous NFR horses and now she's running herself. How cool! I'm rooting for her

Does anyone have an online link to this episode? The original site only has the first episode. I'd greatly appreciate a youtube version anytime!!

Also, last year I was at least able to listen to the NFR live from prorodeo.com for free. This doesn't seem to be the case this year because sirus took over?! Super confused.

Sheri posted tonight that Stingray stayed home due to an abscess developing before they were set to leave. Mad respect to her for not even bringing her to see if she would be good for a later round, truly putting the horse first.

Kimmie Wall has Natalie Foutch's horse Orville as a backup. We get smoked by him pretty regularly around here, she brought him to a couple smaller jackpots last month with her younger horse. We all want to see Foxie do well but man it'd be awesome to see a horse you know personally run down that alley!!!

It's free. ProRodeolive.com to listen on your computer. If you already have Sirius is on channel 147. There is also an app I believe, Live 365, and then search ProRodeolive.com to listen on your iPhone or iPad.

I cried earlier watching the video Michele, Lisa and Sherry made for Nancy Hunter, when they released gold and purple balloons (gold for childhood cancer, purple for pancreatic cancer, which Nancy has). Sherry couldn't even finish her sentence without tearing up. I'm so sad Nancy is struggling with cancer, and have really been praying for her family to have some peace this year.

I also want to see Orville. I loaned Chance to a friend for URA Finals and I have been smoked by him more than a couple times. Way cool to see a horse you know in Vegas!

Good first round, poor ivy I don't know if it was tibby overturning the 2nd which set her up on the wrong side of the 3rd or if he slightly ducked it, it all happens so fast, I hope she makes a comeback tonight! Sarah came on strong too, looks like bling slipped or stumbled on that first slightly and just knocked it coming out! Of course they're one of my favorite teams since she ran with us down here for a while. Jana Bean had a super nice, quiet and well executed run! Congrats to all for a nice first round

Seemed like there was still some ground trouble even with the new ground.

Didn't something similar happen with Ivy and Tibby at the American or the semis?

Brains Behind the Operation...

I noticed a few slips and bobbles at the rate points going in and around the barrels, but overall I think the ground looks way better than last year. Hard to say in Round 1 how much can be attributed to ground and how much can be attributed to the horses and riders just adjusting to the overall setup. These were the slips I noted:

(Cayla Melby - Round 1.jpg)

(Ivy Conrado - Round 1.jpg)

(Jackie Ganter - Round 1.jpg)

(Lisa Lockhart - Round 1.jpg)

(Sarah Rose McDonald - Round 1.jpg)
