KindaClassey, I have a question for you, Do you think that Trump hurt the womens movement? Just curious
The only way thing that comes to mind is the possible implications of a conservative supreme court if Roe V Wade is ever revisited. I'm in favor of a woman still being able to control their reproductive rights. Is there something you have thought of that I didn't?
Naw, I was just asking for your opinion on the subject.. Theres a BB on here that thinks he really screwed up the womens movement rights and sit all women back.. Thank you |

I don't think Trump set it back at all, JMO. I darn sure think Biden will set it back, just ask Tara Reade and any female athlete. |

| If you are not concerned with fuel prices going up a few cents you are living in a dream world. Every thing that you buy in a store gets there on a truck. That means that everything in the store is going to increase in price. Everything. As far as pipelines are concerned you are very out of the loop. I had the privilege of touring Texas Eastman not long ago. They manufacture plastics and use natural gas as fast as they can get it into the plant. Some arrives in tank cars and is downloaded. Some comes in through pipelines. Obviously, neither method is efficient enough to provide what they need. All of their pipelines have a small electrical charge that monitors the pipeline. They noticed a problem, went to where the computer said it was and found a small amount of corrosion. Pipeline was repaired. Some of their pipelines go through a lake that provides water to several cities nearby. There are no problems because their pipelines are monitor 24 hours a day. Also the sewage from one city is treated and is put into a river. The water has to meet certain standards even a specific pH. I took my environmental class to the waste water treatment plant and even they thought it was pretty cool. That plant treats water for about 100,000 people. I my trip to the sold waste disposal (city dump) was about the coolest thing I have done. I just wish I had figured that one out years ago. I would be rich by now. I may have strange tastes in my idea of entertainment but before you start making accusations about how pipelines pollute, you better have your facts straight. Sadly not everyone gets to go to those cool places and see how things REALLY are rather than listening to a bunch of treehuggers who are clueless. Unfortunately I had to have an aerobic sewage system put in but it does water my pasture with nice clean water that is treated very much like the water from the waste water treatment plant. Obviously you don't have any family members that work in the oil field. To many people it's the "it doesn't affect me attitude" so they can't see how many lives are affected. |

When you allow males to compete against females in any female events, woman are screwed. That is spelled S. C. R. E. W. E. D and yes that had taken away womens' rights. There are a lot of girls who rely on athletic scholarships bin order to go to college. Is this fair? |

Did you perhaps misread the origional question? She was asking for ways that Trump had possibly set back women's rights. Not what Biden was currently doing. Trump was pretty "vocal" on where he stood with the transgender question. |

Location: Bastrop, Texas | Again, I hasten to point out, the overwhelming of criticism of Trump is based on a two pronged attack. On the one hand, baseless assertions that he is "homophobic", "xenophobic", "racist", etc... On the other hand, his tweets, his abrasive personality (to some), his "meanness", his foul language, and so forth. Biden used a lie that was mercilessly advanced by the neo-liberal MSM about his "racist" statements following the Charlottesville incident in 2017, and supposedly that was a seminal moment that compelled him to ride to the rescue and throw his hat into the ring. It was an obscene example of taking a comment out of context and using it as a political weapon....and evidently it worked. Yes, Trump has made some cringeworthy remarks verbally and in tweets. So has almost every past President.
The left's attack on Trump wasn't focused at all on his actual accomplishments....because he delivered like no president in our lifetime. "Promises Made, Promises Kept" is probably the most accurate, honest slogan ever, because that's what he did. In so doing, he blew up the political cartel in Washington DC and embarrassed the sh!t out of them. He had to be destroyed. That's what they've been focused on - destroying Trump. People are smart, and they are still catching on. He was our hand grenade....and his presidency was much needed. He's not a homophobe. Ask Rick Grinnell. He's not a xenophobe. Ask citizens of Israel, Bahrain, UAE, Hong Kong, and Morocco. He's not a racist. Ask Ben Carson, Project 21, and the Blacks who benefit from Opportunity Zones, and criminal justice reform. Notice how his support amongst Blacks increased by over 50% from 2016. Oh, and this notion of harming the "women's movement" and how women hate him so much, someone please explain how 53% of white women voted for him....that fact is never quoted by his haters.
All they have is their pathetic theme: "Orange Man Bad".

If voters followed the campaigns Biden told us exactly what he was going to do, and he is doing it now. I do not understand the regret thing, Biden voters should have known what they were voting for and are reaping the "benifits". He does have a 47 year track record.
I did not vote for Biden.
People didnt vote for Biden. They voted againstTrump. How strong does your hatred for one man have to be to make you vote for a man that wants to take away your freedoms? Even if I didnt support Trump, my love for my grandchildren would've never allowed me to vote for Biden/Harris/Pelosi. |

I think Biden is doing the best he can do under the circumstances he inherited. He can't fix all the wrongs of the previous administration overnight. Especially in the middle of a terrible pandemic that the previous administration had ignored and left no plan in place.
He really hasn't done anything yet. He has at least changed the tone from the white house to adult instead of the immature rantings coming the last 4 years. Biden is a moderate. He is going to govern from the middle. But first order of business is the pandemic. And it should be.
Biden USED to be "the middle." Now, he is a puppet for the ultra liberal left. |

| Politicians saying one thing and doing another is a story as old as, well… politics. Some examples are a bit more egregious than others, however. Take for example the burgeoning raft of executive orders being signed by President Biden during his first week in office. Did you know that there was a time when Status Quo Joe didn’t really sound like a fan of circumventing the normal legislative process and ruling by the pen and the phone? Yes, yes… I know what you’re thinking. It’s really not fair to dig up some dusty old quote from a politician that was given when they were much younger. People’s opinions and attitudes can change over time, right? So let’s see. When did Joe Biden complain about how wrong it was to take such actions? Oh, here it is. It was way back in… last October. (Trending Politics) But one Democrat did speak out: Joe Biden, the candidate, in October. “I have this strange notion, we are a democracy … if you can’t get the votes … you can’t [legislate] by executive order unless you’re a dictator. We’re a democracy. We need consensus,” he told George Stephanopoulos.

Are you familiar with Jeff Dunham's puppets. The one he calls Walter is an absolute dead ringer for Joe Biden. |

| Business as usual on BHW. Trump supporters fishing the same fishing hole, getting nothing but bumps. I have come to the conclusion that the same familar fish in the brush pile bumping your line might just be a crappie. I would almost compare him to a carp but he isn't the least hesitate to do a hit and run. Either or waste of time especially using the same familiar techniques. Perhaps though it is just the thrill of the elusive catch that lures some of you.

Why would trans men be competing in women-only events if they're men? Apparently if a male indentifies as a woman, they can compete in women's sports. . There has been a debate in schools for a while now about weither a transgender male should be able to compete in girls sports or a trans girl in guys sports. It's actually already been happening in some school systems, and I believe that it has happened on the college level too, but it now it could become legally supported in schools with Biden's exective order

I read that twice and still don't get the whole fish thing. I guess if you don't like political threads you shouldn't throw your line in the water.

Trump certainly put some women in high places. Which I think opened other doors for women. He definitely placed some women as press secretaries that could directly answer any question and pretty well stop anyone in their tracks. I really think Trump put the best person in each position but he certainly recognized how smart and well informed these gals are. And our new Supreme Court Justice was by far the most intelligent perso in that room when they questioned her. She would not have been there without Trump's selection. |
