It appears we were all mistaken.  In a conference call with a couple of Republicans on board Nancy Pelosi finished the conversation by saying the White House was doing a great job and people just need to get to the airport.

I had a mental image of Nancy in with that throng of desperate people fighting for her life,  but then it turned into her eating gourmet ice cream in front of a $10,000 refrigerator.  Dang it  !!!

I am sick to death hearing about Covid, I change the channel when the covid talk comes on now. We know what is going on with Covid theres alot of lies and alot of truth about it, we are Americans let us decide what is best for us so stop shoving the Covid down my throat. Yes Covid is serious!!!

Biden is hiding behind the Covid so he can avoid the situation he caused in Afghanistan. He knows he really screwed up BIG TIME, Our Americans lives count on the US to get them out, but Biden is advoiding all question asked about Afghanistan, Biden has got to know that the United States is in serious trouble over his screw up on this. The longer the Taliban has control over what happens to the Americans over there the worst its going to be for them, with all the beheadings and beatings that is happening it wont be long befor they start on the Americans, I am scared to death for them right now.

Pen's rescue was relatively unknown until this chaos in Kabul.   He is a political - probably leans to the left.    For me it is interesting to hear views form citizens of foreign countries....and the sentiment is all the same.  The US royally screwed up.  

I have watched four Dem contributors on FOX giving their views on Afghanistan.  One is Debbie Dingell.  They don't get 10 seconds into their conversation before they bring up Trump.  Evidently his timeline for getting out of Afghanistan was May 1 and this is supposed to have influenced the outcome of what's happening today.  Really?  Trump......first civilians, then equipment, then the military, and a stern warning to the Taliban to back off or face the consequences.

Yep Trump had a plan with that timeline of May which the dems are not including in that conversation.   

It has been one crisis after another with ole Joe and the dems spinning each one to blame on Trump.  Now Afghanistan is Trump's fault because he had a timeline of May.  So let me get this straight.  All of a sudden ole Joe has decided to stick with something Trump put in place? 

We all know had this been in anyway Trump's fault, crazy Nancy would be pushing for another impeachment.  We all know she makes up the rules as she goes when it comes to Trump.  However she may be crazy but not stupid.  There is no way she is going to bring any of these Biden/Harris crisis to the forefront for the public to think on.  

In the meantime Biden needs to go to his beachhouse to sleep because he doesn't sleep well at the white house.  Hmmmm, think on that one.

That was the original agreement and if you recall Trump wanted all troops out by Dec 24, 2020 but his advisors told him that was impossible and the Biden became the President elect.  The original agreement was for all troops to be out by May 1 which was the last dam of Ramadan.   To be fair leaving the equpiment behind is not solely on Biden.  It was left for Afghan Nationals who almost immedately fell to the Taliban.   The Taliban were biding their time waiting for Amerians to leave.  It would not matter if we were in Afghanistan 100 years their plans were alwasy to take over.     That is why it was imperative we left an airstrip and counter terrorism teams.   I have very good friends that insist that we should not have left a footprint at all in AFG - and those are Green Beret friends with 8 deployments.   In hindsight I believe we should of kept and airbase and an ODA Team ...the Taliban fear our airpower.    Under the Trump Administration the United States pounded the Taliban with airstrikes.  We beat the living crap of them.    Dan Crenshaw who I agree with on majority was stating we had not run offensive missions since 2014,   he is completly wrong on that and honestly did not play a big role in Afghanistan.   So everything a politician/pundit says on TV must be fact checked.  I heart Krystal Knight ( Dem Strategist) boldly state that Biden was the only one who got us out of Afghanistan.   That was a complete lie - Biden got us INTO AFG again.  He did inherit the Peace Agreement but he bailed out instead of following the strict performance mandates set by the Trump Admin.    It has been rumored that there will be documents stating that Biden was planning an huge vicotry lap on September 11 which is why the August 31st date was so important.  Remember this is the party that brought us Benghazi.

If Biden and the Dem's are blaming Trump then why were they planning a huge September 11 victory party claiming they ended the war?    Can't have it both ways.

Updated to add that the leader of Northern Alliance has now pledged his support to the Taliban.  Which means that his family killed or threatened or maimed.    The situation keeps getting worse.  

Please remember Bush/ Cheney/Rumsfield started the nation building rather than finishing the mission and Obama/ Biden continued it but did not offer our soliders enough support to make any difference in the War on Terror.   

As we thought would happen retired Special Operators are going into Kabul to rescue people.  They will not have Close Air Support.   United States does not abandon their men on the battle field. These brave men will risk their lives for the love of their country.

Big news from Nowzad.  They have hired a private transport for their staff and about 91 animals ( which will be transported in the cargo bay)  human evacuations will take priority of course but many of the animals will leave.  The dogs that can't make the trip have been humanly euthanized.
