Then we will have a CT scan right around July 4th. We should be able to get the results that same day. His dr told me we should expect for Jacob to keep his port in for the remainder of this year because they will continue to do some more scans to make sure we remain in the clear. The day of the scan, we will be pretty anxious. I just pray we are good. So our little town, once a year has a big festival, parade and cook off and a pretty big concert. I was informed Jacobs baseball team is putting together a big Jacob Strong float for the parade. Super excited! He will be on the float with his team mates ... just makes me feel so loved and supported. We are having some bracelets and koozies made up for the boys to toss out to the crowd. They'll say Jacob Strong in them. I also wanted ya'll to know they will be using that beautiful Banner on the float too. I'll take lots of pictures! We could use some extra prayers, my mother is in the hospital since yesterday, they ruled out a heart attack, but are concerned she may have had a stroke... more testing is underway now.. she is in Arkansas with my sister and cousin, so I'm feeling a little anxious at the moment. They've assured me she's doing ok just not feeling like she should.
Welp June 20th is just right around the corner, I bet hes going to be so happy when that day comes and gos.. So cool that his teammates are doing a float for him, going to be a fun day rideing down town pitching out the koozies and bracelets.. Sending your mom some good vibes and prayers. |

| Tomorrow is the big day for Jacob... His last day of scheduled chemo! After about 2 weeks, we will go back for a CT scan to see if everything is clear. I just know it's going to be! It's been a long road, lots of tears, pain, being scared to death, anger, just about every emotion there is. He suffered a little sickness last week and we had to go to his dr for antibiotics and fluids, got a little nervous he wasn't going to make the parade, but he bounced back quickly and we made it! It was so much fun and he had a great time with his friends. I know I've said it before but we just love our little town and how much they've embraced Jacob and our fight.

| Last day of chemo went great for Jacob. He was so happy yesterday. But definitely feeling it today and up a few times last night feeling nausea. He told me this was the last time he's gonna feel this way! We also found out his CT scan will be July 11th at 8am. It's going to be a long day but we will get the results that day and be celebrating Jacobs victory over cancer!

| Here we are, the day before we go in for Jacob's ct scan to see if all the cancer is gone from his little body... I'm having so many weird emotions.. it's like I've never dreaded and looked forward to something so much in my life! We report at 7:45am tomorrow morning, hes been doing really well here at home, still thin as a toothpick but his hair has really thickened up and coming in. We were told this is going to be a pretty lengthy day and to expect to be there most of the day but we will get the results before we leave, so that's helpful. They have to flush him 2 hours before they put the iodine in him and then flush again after since he only has one kidney clearing out the dye. I know he doesn't like the dye since it warms and tingles his body but hes prepared better this time. Tomorrow is going to be a very pivotal day for Jacob and us... the prayers and well wishes are so appreciated and they have been since the very beginning. I will update as soon as I'm able to on here! Thank ya'll so much for everything throughout this entire journey |
