| I used to yell like a wild man......My first horse would rate so much better if I would holler "Here". I went for months without being able to open my mouth and it was very frustrating. FINALLY, that "Here!" broke loose and evolved in to a loud growl. Horse worked much better. I finally realized that yelling for me was like in Judo before hitting a stack of bricks. It allowed ME to focus on just sitting down and leaving my poor horse alone, instead of constantly making minute corrections.
I am all for whatever works. Thankfully I don't growl anymore but do find myself making a running commentary....."Whoopies, my fault." or 'Somebody lost a shoe" or "That's going to leave a mark" kind of commentary. Some find it rather entertaining. I don't mean to do it, it just comes out. I DO have fun watching
Not sure if I can make myself watch this show. I DO find Call of the Wild Man strangely entertaining tho'.

Location: WI | I watched it and loved it, can't wait to tune in tonight. I know people just like every character - the girl who buys the expensive horse and expects to win everything, the girls who train for years hoping to make it. The girls who are there for the cowboys. The bikini racers. The CATTINESS, none of you can tell me that isn't going on - it's right here on this board.
The scenes of the girls sitting around in those chairs drinkin - that is at every race/rodeo I've ever been to! Waiting for someone who's always late - been there, done that too! Although, my poor boyfriend who wishes me well as I leave each weekend for a race - he's like, oh now I know what you're up to! lol |

Location: Oregon | Okay my opinion after seeing it was kind of dumb, kind of funny, kind of boring. Bring on the bikinis and lets get wild, I was ready for some action and instead it was just kind of ... mildly biatchy.
And I have seen Darcy run and never seen her talk to her horse like that, I think that was all edited in. Also never seen her show up in a limo and fur coat. It made all of them (even Barb and Marvel) look like crappy riders IMO with the weird editing and herky jerky sped up running thing. But all in all kind of amusing and I don't think the whole future of barrel racing is at risk from it.
And there is some realism to it, the rich biatch buying her way into the sport, the girls that have to make their own horses and thinking they are better than the ones that buy their horses, the newbies thinking they are going to make it big.

At least I have one other person in agreement with me! But my post about it being fun to watch & pretty darn accurate as far as what goes on behind the scenes got a whole mess of dislikes. Of course I also said people need to lighten up a bit & stop being so critical. It's a show. For entertainment! And it's fun to watch. |

Location: North Dakota | I flipped back and forth between the show and the NFR. My husband and I found it hilarious!!! I wanted to give it a shot but it was bad! BUT it was funny and my hubby seemed to find it really entertaining so we will be watching it again. After it was over and we were watching the NFR and it went to commercial he said "flip it back to the other show!" but I had to break it to him that it was over....hahaha!!! Most TV shows are stupid so why not watch one with barrel horses, trucks, and horse trailers in it? lol It was way too scripted, very faky, horrible editing, and I hate all the interviews with each of the girls because they all sound really dumb. Maybe those girls are really like that but to me it just seems too forced. Who waits around for their friends to go warm up when your friend is running late? Did they seriously all have to go together as a group? lol Also the editing on Marvs run that showed the legs of a sorrel horse turning the first??? WHY? I think the one girl whose horse stumbled must have blown the 3rd really bad or something because they didn't show that barrel and her time was much slower than that little stumble should have been because otherwise I thought her first looked decent and he came out of that stumble pretty well.
All in all lots of fake drama and a lot of cattiness and that Ty was annoying but we will be tuning in again. Why not? lol I'm not a Housewife watcher but I did really like Jersey Shore. lol |

I am a housewife watcher so why wouldn't I watch this! And I agree, even my husband was disgusted with that Ty. When he was telling Marvel to stay out and drink and she will run better the next day, he was like "there is a true champ right there" (insert rolling eyes). |

Oh my gosh my husband hated Ty too!!! When he was trying to get into the trailer with the young brunette he was like "Why would she let an @ss like you in her trailer?" lol It was really funny to see him get into it as much as he did. I was just laughing at how stupid it was but the hubby was actually kind of into the drama. He can be pretty easily entertained at times though. |

Don't they mean 'hits the private jet to meet her 'barn guy' in the next town? Lol. That just tickled me to death. I know some of the top girls fly to rodeos while they're at another one, but I would say they haul themselves about 90% of the time. They only fly when they have to make it to another rodeo while another is going on.
Darcy is a trip. Flying all over. Always wearing a cowboy hat. Fake lashes. Big hair. Going on a 'date' with a guy young enough to be her own kid. And selling herself as the real deal with 'a big heart' that every one is just so mean to. Puh lease. She casted the show herself! No one is believing her for a second.
Still entertaining though.

Speaking of the bikinis and all the flack over that google red bluff bikini barrel race and you will see a video of Fallon and Baby Flo running in it |

I think Darcy pokes fun of herself pretty good. She doesn't dance around the fact that she has a ton of money, likes to flaunt it, and worries a ton about her looks. It is all right there and in your face. Her waiting on her fake lashes to dry before she got ready to run was pretty darn funny! |

Uh, I'm pretty dang sure everyone knows this.
Luckily I don't have a twitter account. FB drove me nuts, looking at the FB page of the negative commenters crowing about how they were "real rodeo people" many looked like they had never been off their 2.2 acres. They were too busy standing on the back of their grade paint "barrel horse". |

For those that haven't seen it: http://www.aetv.com/rodeo-girls/video/bring-it-on
it's more interesting than BoBo looking for Bigfoot.
