Location: Smack in the middle of WA! | Thank you all so much! We are doing ok. Going from snuggling on the couch every night with my fur kids to waking up and them being sprawled across my legs in my bed every morning is the hardest. |

Location: MI | So sorry to hear this, and especially for the loss of your pups. Glad to hear it sounds like you have good support, that makes so much difference.
We had a house fire last year about this same time. Not a total loss though. But for us, right away we were doing ok, but it was 5 months later as we were still living in our fifth wheel that it was really difficult. If you need anything, and even in months, ask :). Hugs! (I hope this isn't depressing, I don't mean it to be at all, and our situation may most definitely be different from yours! - I just wanted to let you know that now or later, we're here for you!)

Location: relocated to Texas | I feel so bad for you. We had a house fire in 2006 and lost everything. We were at home when the fire started, and were able to get our dogs out. Stuff can be replaced, but your dogs are your family. Many prayers for you. And prayers in dealing with your insurance company. That is not a pleasant experience for most people. |

Location: Louisiana | I am so sorry for your loss. It's bad enough to lose material things that can be replaced, but to lose your beloved dogs is so very sad. And seeing your child in pain makes it even worse. Prayers for you as you recover from your loss. |
