Location: Nebraska | cruise - 2014-10-15 2:08 PM The second Dallas nurse to get Ebola is being flown to Atlanta. What I want to know is what type of protective gear do the people tending to these patients in the airplane wear.
when I watched a video about how the NE biocontainment unit works, they transport the patient in like a pod thing so the people tending don't have to wear anything special |

Not diagnosed yet, a letter sent home to parents alerting them that a student was on the same flight as the 2nd nurse and is being monitored- hope they are getting better at monitoring this by now. |

| I haven't followed this until recently but I just wonder how many people are that stupid or that selfish. People don't consider others it seems when they make decisions. Ebola aside, this is how many of our people operate. Its pretty sad and that nurse should be ashamed of herself.
Our president needs to grow a pair and close traffic. Protect our country for once in your life. |

Location: Peach State | As a nurse I'm getting very concerned about the goverment letting this get out of hand and today I recieved a email from the board with "ebola guidelines" which to me still seemed rather weak when it comes to a virus of this nature. All we can do is have faith in our God and not rely on our goverment to protect "we the people".
Also keep my sister in law and her coworkers in your prayers as she is working at Emory hospital in ATL. |

| It just keeps getting better and better, now reporting that when Duncan came back to the hospital with severe symptoms and was admitted and everyone knew at this point he had been in Africa that the those treating him did not wear hazmat suits because the official diagnosis was not in yet. The 2 nurses now infected were his main caregivers. There are not enough adjectives to describe the incompetency of the CDC.

Heard this morning that she had told the CDC she had a fever but they didn't think it was high enough to worry about.... |

| The Belton ISD is taking precautions. They closed the campuses down today and are cleaning the schools and buses. The children that were on the flight are being kept home for the 21 days by their parents. My home town is Belton. We dont live there now byt we have alot of family there and travel there every 2 weeks. Scheduled to go back tomorrow. .. considering postponing. Id rather be overreacting than not. |

Location: In the Hills of Texas | Never fear. The morons of Congress, who now have all become experts, are speaking about it now and of course Henry Waxman is blaming it on sequestration. I don't think that has anything to do with being dumb asses about this whole thing and not closing borders. |

What??? Are the dems politicizing this, lol - that is one of their favorite things to accuse the republicans of doing. |
