They are the best ever; the reps have called me back on weekends and after hours when I had questions.

Talked to platinum today. Aparently the base formula DOES HAVE prebiotics in it, just not probiotics/Live bacteria. THey told me it was not necessary to feed FORCO as well if my horses did not have any digestive issues.

So I just did a comparison between Santa Cruz Animal Health Wellness + Joint Care and the PP CJ. Hardly any difference. Santa Cruz has Vit c, where PP has Thiamin. PP has sulfur, where Santa Cruz doesn't. And 10lb - SC- $107 vs PP- $142. The 25lbs- SC- $266 vs PP- 355

Just picked some up today! I live right where its made!

I'm thinking about getting some!!

Thanks for finding out. I think I need to try a sample.

Ah so it does have a bit of a digestive aid in it. I currently feed FORCO. My mare has been on FORCO for almost a year and I notice, sorry gonna get a little gross here lol but we're horse people so we understand, when I'm cleaning her run some of her manure will be "text book perfect" while other piles will be not quite diarrhea but not what they should be, you know like that nervous horse poop, and I don't understand why. Every time I go to ride and or work her she will get that nervous horse poop as well. I definitely don't think it's the FORCO as she has done this since I got her, but I also thought the FORCO would help. She doesn't show any signs of having ulcers, so I'm wondering if I need more or less of a digestive aid. Or should I maybe just treat for ulcers?

They do have excellent customer service and the product is great as well. My horse didn't need it so I took him off of it for now. I also like Equipride if you can get your horse to eat it. THE is great also.

Is it ok to keep a horse on PP-CJ while they are being treated for Ulcers? We are treating a mare with omperazole/ rantidine paste.

I would call and ask but I have heard from a few people that the joint supplements can cause some stomach irritation. My good horse gets ulcers from oral HA for some reason. But the regular pp doesn't have that.

I called them and lady was super nice said it would be perfectly fine to keep her on it. She said it had stuff in it that would help her with being on omperazole. It has an ingredient to help with digestion.
