Location: Iowa/Missouri | I wouldn't think it would be Ali's Sunshine as she would be by Streakin Ali and sold by Rodeo Solutions so she shouldn't wear Fulton's bradn. Could she have been one of Fulton's broodmares? |

I think theres a chance she is a recip mare? I dont know how those high end facilities work but broodies I would guess would be listed in their sales unless she was sold privately. |

Location: Where I am happiest | I dont think she has ever foaled and raised a baby. Her udder is very small and once they have raised a foal the teats are more pronounced. Not go back down to non existance. I also dont think she would be a good candidate for a recipient mare. She's way to small and they like big mares as recipients. |

Maybe ask Fulton's about the "unnamed" horses? |

The two unnamed horses look to be a bay roan mare and a brown mare. |

I can get you her phone number if needed.. She's divorced now and changed her name back to her maiden name, Simon..
Maybe the OP would be interested? If someone is fb friends, could see if theres any photos of her on this Ali's Sunshine? Easily confirm it is or isnt the horse we're looking for. I would be really surprised if the horse ran and was entered in futurities and ended up here but you never know.
There is a picture with Ali's Sunshine on allbreed, and it doesn't look like this horse.
Three white stockings & a big blaze.
The picture could always be wrong though.
I didnt even think to look there since so many dont have pics!!
I am almost more leaning towards it being one of these:
Cant find photos of descriptions of the following:
"A Streakin Merridoc" - found she was competed on by a Laura Avery. 2007 Chestnut Mare
"Streak of Dusty" - has a baby http://www.fultonhorsesale.com/2015/StreakinDustyLight.htm
there were 2 unnamed mares x ASOF sold -
35 Unnamed 2009 M A Streak Of Fling Painted Woman Paddys Irish Whiskey Grad 3000 From NE
36 Unnamed 2009 M A Streak Of Fling Our Red Gravy Hand Off Boy Mundorf 2200 From PA
I wonder why those two went unnamed?
A Streakin Merridoc - no snip, no socks.

Location: Never in one place long | Thank you for saving this horse! She is beautiful. I've seen so many kill pen horses being bought lately and SO many turning into amazing horses and for CHEAP! Makes me think twice about ever buying a 10k horses again. I think I'll take my chances on a rescue next time and save a life. I hope you find out who she is! |

Location: Where I am happiest | No real updates per say. We have ordered the DNA kit to see if there is a match. AQHA said they can match her DNA across the entire database provided she was DNA'd to begine with. That will tell us a reg. name and number. I can tell you she has been very easy to work with. She is very kind. She's gaining weight well and now that she's more rested her appetite is really increasing. She was so very thin and extremily wore out when she arrived. My daughter saddled her up last night just to see and that all went without a bobble. She's thinking she will climb on next week to see what is or isnt there. |

Location: Where I am happiest | Update. Still dont know "Who" she is yet but I'll tell you what we do know. Turns out there is a cutting horse breeder with the exact same brand as Fultons except the F doesnt quite connect to the open box. Very hard to distinguish between the 2 unless you know exactly what your looking for and it is in the exact same location as Fultons. The people who had this brand had 2 stallions. One called "Droppie"by Boonlight Dancer out of a Hybrow Cat daughter they paid $118,000 for. I found the sale results going through google. Their other stallion was a horse called "Smart Mouth". Through AQHA I was able to contact the guy who purchased Droppie. He lives in Kansas. He told me the old owners, Jack and Pamela Shields have 2 places, one in Howard Colorado, and one in Rio Vista Texas. He said Jack Shields got very very ill, the horses were getting poor and had gotten poor and they liquidated everything. Most or many, sold through a sale at Shawne Oklahoma. So I had located phone numbers for Jack and Pamela Shields but they are land lines now disconnected. Which isnt suprising as very few people have a land line phone anymore. Soooo, thats where were at. If anybody has any further info on Jack and Pamela Shields, we would be ever so gratefull. |

Stories like that make me so sad. I bet if that's where she came from, she's an athletic little thing. |

She is very very athletic! Extremily quick footed. We have not started her yet per say as we dont know her exact age. Vet said 2 - 4 and she is really small and looks like a maybe 2 yr old.So we decided best to let her mature a little more and put more weight on. She is super sweet on the ground and just wants to get along. Then she got sick, got potomac horse fever, spent a few days in the hospital on IV's and is just now starting to bounce back from that. She had only gotten 1 potomac horse fever shot when she got sick so her immunities werent built up enough yet but it was enough to help her get over it after just a few days of hospitalization. Soooo, we are now just building her back up again from that. All the weight we had put on her, poured off plus some but at least she survived. She is a tuff one thats for sure. |

You should be able to figure out how old she is as this is when they are shedding their baby teeth and getting perms and is the easiest to figure out their age.

Location: Northwest Florida | What an interesting thread! I read the whole thing from the beginning, hoping the mystery would be solved at the end. Sadly it sounds like you're still searching.. Good luck! And thank you for saving her! No matter who she is, she is happy and safe now and that's what matters |
