Frodo - 2016-07-29 8:02 AM Oh I know it's mean but Ivanka is a supermodel next to Chelsea.

Β
True story!!!!!! Lololol. Not mean given the fact Chelsea's UNCLASS ACT OF CALLING IVANKA OUT SHOWED no class whatsoever. doesn't surprise me though.she acts like a thug to when she thinks no one is looking.

Please show me? Β  Copy of her speech

It is such an honor for me to be here tonight. I'm here as a proud American, a proud Democrat, a proud mother. And tonight, in particular, and very proud daughter.
Mark and I can't quite believe it, but our daughter Charlotte is nearly two years old. She loves Elmo, she loves blueberries and above all, she loves Facetiming with Grandma. My mom can be about to walk on stage and it just does not matter, she will drop everything for a few minutes of blowing kisses and reading "Chugga-Chugga Choo-Choo" with her granddaughter. Our son, Aidan, is five and a half weeks old. We are so thankful that he is healthy and thriving and we are biased, but we think he is just about the cutest baby in the world β€” a view I'm sure my mom shares. And every day that I spend with them as Charlotte and Aidan's mother, I think about my own mother. My wonderful, thoughtful, hilarious mother.
My earliest memory is my mom picking me up after I had fallen down, giving me a big hug, and reading me "Goodnight Moon." From that moment to this one β€” every single memory I have of my mom is that regardless of what was happening in her life, she was always there for me. Every soccer game, every softball game, every piano recital, every dance recital. Sundays spent together at church, the local library, countless Saturdays finding shapes in the clouds.
Making up stories about what we would do if we met a Triceratops β€” in my opinion, the friendliest looking dinosaur β€” although my mother would remind me that they were still dinosaurs. As a kid I was pretty obsessed with dinosaurs and the day that my parents took me to Dinosaur National Park, I didn’t think life could get any better.
Β
Whenever my mom was away for work, which thankfully did not happen very often, she let notes for me to open every day she was gone. All stacked neatly together in a special drawer with a date on the front of each one, so I would know which note to open on which day. When she went to France to learn about the childcare system, I remember one was all about the Eiffel Tower. Another was about that ideas she helped to bring home to help the kids of Arkansas. I treasured each and every one of those notes. They were another reminder that I was always in her thoughts and in her heart.
Growing up, conversations around the dinner table always started with what I learned in school that day. I remember one week talking incessantly about a book that had captured my imagination, "A Wrinkle in Time." Only after my parents had listened to me talk, would they then talk about what they were working on: education, health care consuming their days and keeping them up at night.
I love that my parents expected me to have opinions and to be able to back them up with facts. I never once doubted that my parents cared about my thoughts and my ideas, and I always knew how deeply they love me. That feeling of being valued and loved β€” that is what my mom wants for every child. It is the calling of her life.
Β
My parents raised me to know how lucky I was that I never had to worry about food on the table, that I never had to worry about a good school to go to. Never had to worry about a safe neighborhood to play in. And they taught me to care about what happens in the world. And to do whatever I can to change what frustrated me, what felt wrong. They taught me that’s the responsibility that comes with being smiled on by fate.
I know my kids are little young, but I'm already trying to instill those same values in them. There's something else that my mother taught me: public service is about service. And as her daughter, I've had a special window into how she serves. I’ve seen her holding the hands of mothers worried about how they will feed their kids, worried about how they will get them the healthcare they need. My mother promised to do everything she could to help. I have seen her right after those conversations getting straight to work. Figuring out what she could do, who she could call. How fast she could get results. She always feels like there isn't a moment to lose because she knows that for that mother, for that family, there isn’t.
And I've seen her at the low points, like the summer of 1994. Several people this week have talked about her fight for universal health care. I saw it up close. It was bruising. It was exhausting. She fought her heart out and as all of you know, she lost. For me, 14 years old, it was pretty tough to watch. But my mom, she was amazing. She took a little time to replenish her spirit β€” family movie night definitely helped. Dad, as all of you know, liked "Police Academy." My mom and I loved "Pride and Prejudice." And then she got right back to work. Because she believed she could still make a difference for kids.
People ask me all the time β€” how does she do it? How does she keep going amid the sound and politics? Here is how: she never, ever forgets who she is fighting for.
She has worked to make it easier for foster kids to get adopted. For 9/11 first responders to get the health care they deserve. For women around the world to be safe, to be treated with dignity, and to have more opportunity. Fights like these, they are what keep my mother going. They grabbed her heart. Her conscience. And they never let go. That is to my mom. She's a listener, a doer. She is a woman driven by compassion, by faith, but a fierce sense of justice and a heart full of love.
Come this November, I'm voting for a woman as a role model and a mother. A woman who has spent her entire life fighting for families and children. I'm voting for the Progressive who will protect our planet from climate change, who will reform our criminal justice system, who knows that women's rights are human rights, and who knows that LGBT rights are human rights. Here at home, and around the world, I'm voting for a fighter who never ever gives up and who believes we can always do better when we come together and work together.
I hope that my children will someday be as proud of me as I am of my mom. I am so grateful to be her daughter. I'm so grateful that she is Charlotte and Aidan's grandmother. She makes me proud every single day. And mom, grandma would be so proud of you tonight.
To everyone watching here at home, I know with all my heart that my mother will make us proud as our next president.

Did say it was in her speech last night??where did I say that.show me.

Chelsea and Ivanka are suppose to be friends and she called Ivanka out about Trump on equal pay which we all now that in reality, Clinton hasn't given equal pay for equal work to her own employees...Now she might have very recently changed that but once again it's the typcial liberal BS. Do as I say...Not what I do.

At a Facebook Live event organized by Glamour, Chelsea was asked to address the claims Ivanka made during her RNC speech that President Trump would advocate for equal pay and accessible child care.
Chelsea’s response to Ivanka?
“How would your father do that?”
“Given it’s not something that he has spoken about, there are no policies on any of those fronts,” she said. “So I think the ‘how’ question is super important. In politics as it is in life.”
Honestly, we think Chelsea handled this really well. She was respectful in asking Ivanka to back up her claims without backing down on her convictions, and she did it without turning the issue into a personal attack against Ivanka.

This was all I could find, please let me be called out by Chelsea someday she is awful.

Jake16  I am honestly not picking on you at all I just wanted to see, you did say True Story!!!!! You also told everyone the other day that the convention hall was empty before Bill Clinton spoke.  I wondered why since you were at work but I can tell you it wasn't at all.  I watched both conventions from 8 pm till they went off.  You may be confused because they did all leave after Trump's wife spoke.  The news people were freaking out talking about how rude it was, I personally think it was past their bed times.

Go ahead and attack away this thread needed some activity, I must go get something done.  So go ahead and call me a hit and run.  I will just give you something to talk about, I can't believe in 4 days this is all the activity it has had, mostly just hate filled.  I'm shocked at the things said by people who don't even watch.  I believe in listening to both before I decide, seems to be a real problem with both sides in the land of the free.  Still shocked we don't have better choices and no I'm not a Bernie fan.

Just remember when you call me out...... call me out like Chelsea I thought she showed class, I can handle that.  Also please I sure hope I don't cause anyone to throw up in their mouth, that just makes me sick you should get that checked.

Ivanka should look like a super model compared to Chelsea she was bred to be, and when his dam got old he dumped her for a newer model, family values with a gag order 2x.  Sorry I will have reading over my morning coffee tomorrow and I was bored.  One more and I swear I have to work how does he get away without showing his taxes?   He had a fit when Mitt Romney wouldn't release his and forced him to do it.  I can't respect him for that I believe he is hiding something.  Flame suit zipped and going to the barn.

I haven't watched either convention, I already know who I have to vote for. I don't need to hear Hilary spew her crap. I have watched her for too many years show her true colors. I won't ever vote for her.
My poor husband came home from work, Flint Hills Resources (owned by the Koch brothers), upset because for years all they have said is how terrible Hillary is and NOW they want their employees to support her. Didn't surprise me one bit, but that's whole other can of worms, lol.

Move over you Dems and the Clinton Foundation!  All that we hear is wonderful talk on what they plan to do and glaced over simple accomplishments.  The last decade the USA has gone down in all areas and people.  We need to change out this spineless government trying to lead America.  Donald Trump is the man to get America on our feet.

Hahaha it was a figure of speech and meant to be funny. But truthfully Hillary is a horrible speech giver, with her bobble head nodding and ufc fight announcer pitch. Quite frankly all the people standing up to speak for her went way over the top in trying to describe Hillary. Complete contrast of the woman we've witnessed over the last 30 years made them unbelievable.

I'm all about Trump turning over his tax returns as I am Hillary turning over transcripts of her Wall Street journal speeches? Food for thought on that:
They didn't pay Bill and Hillary that amount of money for things they already know. No man gives a hooker money just to hear what she does.
And maybe this thread hasn't seen much action bc there's NOTHING to be said that we don't already know. Hillary is a pandering lying, crook and no speech filled with bs delivered by all the people she promised something in return for is going to make us drink the tainted kool aid!

The Koch boys have a huge fortune and many many years work invested in setting up the GOP to fit their personal agenda and now it is not panning out. Wonder how many democrats they can get bought before the elections

I tried listening to Bill about his recollection of their beginning but knew he was full of $%#& when he said "there she was in a long white, flowery skirt" I think the woman was born in an ugly pantsuit. He was boring and I'm not one to be "charmed." He still uses same hand gesturesi e his finger pointing and I was reminded of a liar who looked directly into the eye of the AMERICAN people and LIED pointing his finger and saying, "I did not have sexual relations with that woman." His trysts have continued, he and Hillary get richer and the women become victims of their runaway train of destruction.

"I think the woman was born in an ugly pantsuit. " - OMG - absolutely hilarious!

She's all about making history as the first female president, but those pantsuits have a distinctly masculine look on her. . . .

I think it's fair to say that a lot of us KNOW that most politicians are all in bed together but it's going to be Hillary or Trump. I've said this before, the difference between a Hillary supporter and Trump supporter is we mostly recognize he is flawed and he's called out by the media, the public and his own party. Hillary is not!

No telling- but the guys at work have cancelled their contributions to a fund that Koch set up for political support. It shocked the HR department. Told the guys that it wasn't just for the presidential race, lol. Their reply was that they didn't want to contribute to Hillary or any other demo, so they were canceling their contributions. It won't hurt the Koch brothers much I sm sure, but I think the very fact that the employees proved they weren't sheeple was shocking.

Actually the rich business men aren't sticking together. The Koch brothers are endorsing Hillary, who they have always vilified until Trump won the Republican nomination. They have always encouraged their employees to vote Republican since my husband has worked there- 27 years. For them to switch to Hillary makes me a little less worried about voting for Trump.
