Congratulations, Wyodrumrunner! She looks nice- keep us posted on how she breaks out!

And, after looking at her pedigree, shame on all of us for neglecting to mention Lady Bugs Moon! He had a lot of influence back in the day-

Oh man, besides Bugs Alive in 75 and all the other good horses we’ve already mentioned, you’ve got Speck Deck and through him, Flying Bob. Nice!

Flit Bar Beggar was by Flit Bar and out of a granddaughter of Leo San Siemon. Junior Hudspeth raised him. It’s neat to hear your story of having to hide your horse in the trailer, lol!

Cloverleaf, if my memory serves me, E.J. Hudspeth was listed as the breeder and 1st owner on this horse's papers. We got him when he was 8 or 9 years and he'd been passed around a bit before we got him.

Do you remember what mare he was out of? Junior had some good mares-

Here's his pedigree: http://www.allbreedpedigree.com/siemon+beggar+bars

Thanks! I don’t remember that mare, but Siemon Joe was a whale of a good horse. Junior raised him. My good mare was out of a daughter of Siemon Joe. Some of them could sure buck- mine did.

I'm not super well educated in lineage, but I know I get along with anything Peppy bred.

Looking through his pedigree (if the pics are accurate) and based off of pics alone, I really like how that Irishbar Bob looks if we're judging from farther back.

I'm mainly here to soak in the knowledge though

Ann Ward of Gainesville TX raised Flashy Star Bar. He was a really pretty, flashy red sorrel with some white on his feet. Nimble as a cat and smart as a whip. Ann wanted a Flit Bar stud to breed to her mares; they never broke him to ride. I can’t remember what mare he was out of and I’m not sure Allbreed has it right. I have found mistakes on there before, unfortunately.

Showdown Hoss was by Showdown, a good-producing King Ranch Stud. He was out of Panzarita Daughtery who was out of the great, great mare Panzarita. Elmer Hepler’s name was synonymous with famous early Quarter Horses.

I don’t know much about Lous Mccue but it looks like she came from the Burnett Ranch- (at least on her bottom side) also synonymous with good horses, especially around the Red River, Wichita Falls area.

That’s nice of you to say, Roxie! I know certain bloodlines and have heard about some others. I just wish I had paid better attention when I was young then and could remember more now-
