Ryon is so sweet and is being so nice. He & De have worked out some communication whether it's charades or flash cards, but it's working! : )
This guy can be tough as boot leather! So he's fighting and fighting hard.
De is definitely drawing strength from all our prayers and concern. This is going to be a long haul, no doubt, so I have assured her that we will continue to pray. She knows we will.
This is great news!!!

I didn't realize that Ryon is an RN. That will be so helpful as he journeys through this. YaYa, is there an address that we can send cards to? Assuming, of course, that information isn't too private?
I just sent a package this morning. Here's hoping that she gets it!! : )
This is the address I used. I think it will be good for now....don't see why it wouldn't.

De is staying at the hospital right now. She's either in the room with Ryon or in the ICU Waiting Area. My guess is they will know who she is and where to find her! [FYI....when I talked to the hospital this morning about sending the package, they were going to transfer me to someone else if money was going to be inside the package. So, best not to do anything like that without contacting the hospital first.]

I missed the fact that he is in LR, AR. I have a friend in the area and I know she would be happy to drop by and take anything that might be needed for this long hospital stay. Things like a sweater, books, snacks, what ever they might need.
Wish I'd known sooner. I'm sure they've gone out and bought stuff. But please ask her if she needs anything. |

Ryon is in good spirits this morning. He's on a breathing mission. : )
Please pray for strong, clear lungs and a strong diaphragm!
Ryon needs to get off the vent.....and that guy is working as hard as he can work!
eta: He is breathing on his own, but has to keep all the numbers up so that he can get off the vent!
