YeeHaw - 2011-02-19 2:59 PM Thank you all for your continued prayers.......each of you will never know how much they are needed and appreciated!

We are having a good day.  He is sitting up in a chair right now, PT just left, and she worked him pretty good! not much strength or dexterity in his left hand.  Still no feeling or sensation from the collar bone down

Ryons right hand is his strongest hand .  He can eat and get his own drink with is right hand!  The PT told us that it could be up to 6 weeks before the swelling in the spinal cord goes down enough for us to know where he is going to be. So we have a LONG way to go.  Thank each of you for your continued prayers.  They are still needed.  Blessings to you all!
WOW...
Prayers that the swelling and healing give him complete recovery...
God does still perform miracles.  And I know Ryon is getting his too...

Being able to feed yourself is a HUGE deal...
I have one too that knows the importance of that

I'm home!  It sure was hard to leave my baby....(30 year old baby! LOL)  But I know he was getting sick of mama! lol........I am kinda-sorta hyper, and I think I wear him down. lol  His SO is with him for the weekend, and there is only room enough for 1 woman in that little hospital room! ;) LOL   He was so glad to see her, she is going to school, and had to be away all week.

Ryon is having a good morning when I called.   They will moving him at 11am Monday morning for Texarkana Rehab!   It will be wonderful having him only 50 min. from the house!

Thank you all for your love and continued prayers!  Hugs to all!

That's wonderful news!  I don't blame you for being excited fabout him being closer too.  My son is in the med field too and is 28.  Wouldn't be pleasant to not have him close in these circumstances!!  Glad you're feeling better too!

Yep!  We are way excited to have the boy back in Texas!!!  He is only 50 min. from the house now instead of 3.5 hours!

He was grinning from ear to ear when they got him off of the ambulance.......he said he slept all the way, so he guesses he had a good trip. lol

The only concern now is........the Harrisons tend to be a loud bunch.  Our younger son Casey stopped by, and they could probably be heard down at the cafeteria. LOL  this rehab center has only older people in it.......so trust me, it will never be the same! LOL

The work begins tomorrow!  Ryon is ready!  Please continue to pray!
