I tried to call Ryon last night, guess he was asleep. He was suppose to hit the grindstone this morning around 8am........I will see him today around 3. Will update everyone tonight. |

Location: Tom, Oklahoma | I did not get home until 9pm.......Ryon had a good day.....they worked his tail off! He was so tired tonight, and his neck was hurting. I had to go get him some weight lifting gloves to use when he is pushing his wheel chair.
He did not eat very well today....guess because he was so tired.
Thank you all for your continued prayers.....
for those keeping up with Chancey, please remember her in your prayers tonight. She is having a rough time of it. It just breaks my heart, because I know what that precious family is going thru. There is no anguish like watching your child suffer.

Location: Tom, Oklahoma | I was not going to go to Texarkana today. Told Ryon when I left last night that I would see him Thurs.........then while I was feeding cows around lunch, Janna called, said she had talked to Ryon, and that "they dropped him on his head this morning".  WHAT?? Ryon did not want her to tell me.......(haha, wonder why), but it scared her, so she told me anyway. He said he neck was hurting.......etc.
So..........I fly home, get in my truck and head to Texarkana.......Get there, Ryon is laying in bed dozing.........why are you here Mom? I said, I heard you got dropped on your head..........he said he landed on a pillow, that it just mostly scared him, and yes, it did hurt his neck some, but he was just sore from working the last 2 days.
He said that they had a big meeting after it happened.....I'm sure some heads rolled.......but it was never mentioned to me. Looks like no harm done, (thank the Lord!!) and they are just keeping a close eye on him.
During Rehab today, Ryon said that he rolled his own wheel chair alot more by himself. he was so much stronger, and all this happened after the "dropping on the head" incident.
We are still praying for more feeling and movement! Thank you for your continued prayers!
Prayers going up for Chancey tonight.,,,.....Lord bless them! They are having such a hard time right now. |

thank you for your sweet words Joy.........but really, sometimes we just have to be strong weather we want to be or not.......as I am sure you well know. No choice, it is either, stand firm or curl up in a fetal position.........(or go buy a fifth of vodka. LOL) I have been to busy to do either of the last 2 choices. ;)
You all here on BHW have been such a blessing to me...............thank you all. |

I was thinking that I DID drop Ryon on his head when he was a baby, but no, it was Casey, my other son, that I dropped on his head. LOL So now both of them has been dropped on their heads! LOL |
