Surgery went well. they were able to put the spine back where it is supposed to be. its a good start. we won't know anything for sure for a few days. continued prayers are needed

O Lord Jesus, our Savior, the Physician of souls and bodies, who became man and suffered death on the cross for our salvation, and through thy tender love and compassion did deal all manner of sickness and affliction: do thou O Lord, visit Ryon in his suffering and grant him grace and strength to bear this sickness with which he is afflicted, with Christian patience and submission to thy will, trusting in they loving kindness and tender mercy. Bless, we pray thee, the means used for his recovery, and those who administer to them. We know O lord, that we justly deserve any punishment thou may inflict upon us, for we have so often offended thee, in thought, word and deed. Therefore, we humbly pray of thee, look upon our weakness, and deal not with us after our sins, but according to the multitude of thy mercies. Have compassion on Ryon, and let mercy and justice meet and deliver him from this sickness and suffering he is undergoing. Grant that his sickness may be the means of our true repentance and amendment of our lives according to thy will, that he may spend the rest of his days in thy love and fear, praising and glorifying thee with thy Eternal Father and Life-giving Spirit. Amen.
