Location: Grandfield, OK | Chancey update: She made it to Craig Hospital - bumpy flight - she is running a fever 101.8 now - not sure why. Everybody is exhausted - she says the hospital is really nice. Lynette is really needing prayers now - she is tired, scared and lonely. Please pray for the both of them |

I guess I missed the fever part. Hate to hear that. On Sat. Ryon was running a 99.? but then the next day it was gone........prayers that Chancey's fever goes away as fast!
Prayers for both of them.......for healing and strength! |

Chancey update: She got to chew gum today - eat liquid foods and ice cream. She was off of the vent quite a bit today and is getting stronger every day. Her spirits are amazingly strong and she is ready to start her rehabilitation. It is so incredible the strength she is showing - the physical therapist says she does twice the exercises expected of her. We all believe this is due to the prayers for strength and healing. Thanks to all of my barrel buddies for taking the time to pray for her and our family.
There are several barrel racing benefits planned for her - April 2 - Wichita Falls - The Steve Rater Memorial will benefit Sis and another young cancer patient and there is one scheduled April 23 in Elk City, OK. Our family would love to meet each and every one of our barrel racers in Christ there. Thanks again
Glad to hear the great news... Will keep everyone in my prayers! |

Location: Grandfield, OK | Chancey had a rough day - has pneumonia AGAIN - They put her back on the ventilator - told us this was not a bad thing or set back but with the fluid in her lungs and inactivity, she needed help getting more air into the lower part of her lungs. i.e. deeper breaths. They expect her to be on it for a few days only. She was off of it for 4 days breathing on her own so we know that will not be a problem. She is bored stiff - and ready to get busy doing something. She misses all of the wonderful nurses and staff at OU Medical Center and hasn't adjusted fully to the new changed environment.
Thanks for all of the prayers and well wishes and please continue to lift Sis up in your prayers.

Location: Grandfield, OK | Chancey had a better day today - lungs looked VERY much better - worked all day doing stuff - range of motion in legs is good - joints all working properly - trying to regain strength in upper arms doing exercises and has some feeling in her groin area. Prayers are working - thanks for all of them and keep her on your prayer lists please.
