Yes I have...actually the first time I used them was on myself! :)...Youth world 3 yrs ago...was having hip pain and my plantar facitis was acting up...walked up to John and noticed him patching someone's back...talk to him for a few and he patched me and within MINUTES the pain was GONE!!!!!!!!!....thought to myself if it worked like that on me I couldnt imagine what it would do to my horse!...Became a distributor that day!

I have seen horses when "looking them over" and checking them drop to the knees because they are hurting...within minutes of putting the patches on them it is a TOTALLY different horse......What I really like seeing is when I patch a horse at a 2 day show on the second day and they run 1/2 sec or sec faster because they are no longer hurting and can work correctly!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yes I have used these patches. These patches have helped my horses back pain. Also my horses is a bleeder I use these patches on his lung points and have not had to give an meds. I love the patches. No needles, No meds. Pain is gone is just a minute or 2. They work up to 12 hours. I have also put the patches on my horse to give him pep in his step. These patches work. It shaved of a whole second at the finals at Tunica. If you have any questions please email me www.lifewave.com/mhinds

Yes, definitely! How many do you want me to post? This is Awesome!
OK, I patched my own of horse first (of course), found several places where he was sore (5 to be exact), patched him, went back over him and the pain was gone. I then rode him and he moved better than he has in quite a while, so much more fluid and smooth. (I am just legging him back up, so we are not competing yet)

I can post about several like this, but I will skip ahead to one that was very dramatic:
I contacted a neighbor whose horse had foundered last year and I knew that she was still having issues. I approached her about letting me practice on her horse and that there were no drugs or chemicals, all natural and of course I would do this at no charge. When I got there the mare was laying down, after a few minutes while we talked the mare got up and she had a swollen knee about the size of a soccer ball. The Vet had drained it a week ago, but it had swollen back up and he would be back the next day to drain it again.
Long story short, I patched both front feet, I put both a tan and a white patch on the swollen kneeabout 4-5 inches apart one above the other and patched low on her neck. Then bummer there was no change (be patient), I placed a frantic call to John. It was about an hour before he got back to me, when he called, I said "I just patched a horse and nothing happened (I explained)" John's answer was this "Lynn, on something like this, it is not going to happen in 60-90 seconds,Be Patient".
Next morning I got a call from the mares owner, 3 hours after I left the mares knee, busted open and drained totally, but not only that she busted an abcess at the coronet of the foot on the same leg (that they were completely unaware of). Needless to say she got a lot of relief. But this is not the end of the story, it just so happens that that Vet was at a friends house where I hauled my colts over to get their coggins pulled (coincidence). He saw some patches on one of my colts and asked what they were, so I told him, but didn't elaborate (wait). He said "I think you just put these on one of my clients horses", we dicussed who it was and I told him "Yes" again I did not elaborate. Well He said "I will tell you this, the mare is better than she has been since he started seeing her!"
So I ask YOU, Does this stuff work? YES!!!
If you patch a horse or a person and you don't get a change, move the patches till you see a change.
I put mine on with tape until I know where I am going to put them before I take the backing off.

Here is another one!
I patched a horse a week ago, that was off in a hind leg. The owner said it was from a kick above the hock about 2 weeks ago, but he was still off, she wanted to know if I thought that it would work.
Well I went over the entire horse first (good practice for me), found a place on his back that was sore and patched him there, then patched this hock several different places and arrangements, with very little change. Then following my gut, I checked his back feet (at the hairline) for soreness and he was sore here on both back feet (but not on the front feet), so I put a patched on the front of both feet (just above the hairline).
Woo Hoo, you guessed it, He walked off sound and turned around in tight circles with no signs of soreness!

And again!
My hay man was delivering some rolled hay to me yesterday and he was in a lot of pain from his back, it was very obvious. I talked him into letting me patch his back, I wound up putting 1 white and 2 tan patches on his back. He couldn't believe it and that it was that fast.
His plans were to look at the website that night and he was so glad that he was going to be able to go play golf in the morning!

I patched a horse that was bucking whenever you loped him, I patched him behind the eyes, on the front of his back feet above the hairline and in the girth area.
Guess what? No more bucking!

My horse had soreness in his back and had bucked and ducked first barrel on me several times. I switched saddles and that helped, but I knew the damage was done and at the last Lincoln Barrel bash I tried 2 sets of patches on him, one on his rump and one on his mid back and we had great runs all weekend that got faster each day, first time I have ever won money at Lincoln. I was sold and became a distributor. Since using the patches for the last 5 months we have gone from buried in the 3D to 1D times. I truly believe in them! Hope that helps.

I found this post through google and I am ordering some to help with my barrel colt. My question is how long does a set of patches last? I haven't been able to find that answer.

I AGREE! I put them on my horse just to be entered in the side pot and he was actually 3 tenths slower and hit a barrel. I don't think they work. All it did was rip off my horses hair.

About how much do they cost? I am a bit skeptical of the whole thing but if I was to try the things are they very expensive? I watched a video on them and wasn't too impressed. Are they magnets or something? And if so why don't you just use the blankets?
