Location: South TEXAS | im using the ECJR currently on a 18yr barrel horse with multiple past injuries(stifles, feet, and knee). he has been on 30 days of 10cc per day and now on 10cc every other day. he seems to feel better and I have started back riding him a few days a week. I do feel that it is making progress but its not an overnight deal on a horse with multiple things going on. I feel that if its eventually able to dissolve his knee chip down he will be comfortable. he seems pretty good in his back end now.
this stuff is expensive so he may get backed down to 10cc every third day after these last 2 tubes. just depends on how he is doing.
I have a friend, that her horse was worse off than mine with multiple chips and in stifle and knee. he is back running and winning again and passed a lameness exam.
I have heard of good results with the bleed block and then some I hear it didn't work. just depends on the horse I guess. |

Not the same makers.
Equidites Bleed Block has been a life saver for my open gelding. Running awesome again, recovering much faster then ever, and NO LASIX. Very pleased that I gave it a try and plan on looking into more of their products. |

Check your labels..equidites bleed block and oxygens bleeder stop is the exact same product. Except bleed block adds to their price. I only know because I ordered bleed block & had a close friend that is an oxygen dealer call me. I have also talked to the main person who formulates oxygen products about it. Equidite was suppose to market it more to cutters & different disciplines and stay out of the barrel racing community. |

You are right my hubby just talked to Coltin @ Equidite and Jack the formulator, formulates for both Equidite and OxyGen and our mare bled thru bleeder stop bad. She is 100% now & has been for a yr. knock on wood so not going to risk it will keep her on the Lung Aid & Lasix (she's only on 3cc at this time & not every rodeo).

Then I stand corrected. I had nothing but bad experiences with the Oxygen customer service and had an issue with a horse that was on it that was never answered, so I just looked elsewhere for a product and did not realize they were the same. And when I got equidite, it was not because they were marketing to barrel racers, it was through a reining friend who suggested it. |

JTG sometimes I think we have the same horse, this is exactly what my horse did and how I treat her. I was thinking about trying Bleedblock, glad to hear they are the same. I love the other oxy-gen products but bleeder stop didn't work for my horse.

| Sounds like this product can work really well whether its the bleed block or the EMJR for some horses, and for some it doesnt work for others at all.
Just like any other supplements! :)

| So with some more research and talking to the actual owner, Equidite isnt the same as Oxy-Gen.
The products were being made at the same factory, so they had similar labels. They have since moved to a different factory, in Ohio to put these rumors to rest.
Also, Equidite was never supposed to "stay away from the barrel racing market"
They started out with cutters and reiners just because! Equidite a big full page advertisement in Barrel Horse News Magazine. I think they are in full swing in the Barrel Racing World.
If anyone has any questions about Equidite, they should definitely contact Coltin! Hes really easy to talk with and had all the answers to my questions! |

| I bumped this back up to see if anyone has found any options cheaper than bleed block or oxygen's bleeder stop?
Big Dee's has some options but looking for a range of vitamin K that I would need? |
