I haven't seen them sold anywhere cheaper other than used ones on facebook. I lucked out and got some that looked new for a little off the new price.

That's what I was going to say. It's been my experience that you can't find them cheaper unless you can find someone wanting to sell theirs. My vet sells them but they are the same price as the website. Only you can pick them up instead of paying shipping.

I'm looking for a pair too for a new horse I just got last week.  I don't know what size I need or how to fit them since I've never used them before.

If you go to their website it has a really good explanation on how to measure for the boots.  I would be leary of buying them used as if someone bought and used them when they were either too big or too small they could be wearing wrong and you'll have an expensive pair of junk.  I bought mine from SG.  She was a huge help answering my million questions and getting them sent out right away.

Thanks, I will check out the website and see what it says.  I was hoping I could take a look at some in person but I don't know anyone who uses them.

I bought a horse last week (a reiner)  that has some issues with his front feet due to not being shod the best.  My farrier said it could take a year or more to get them back to normal.  I thought the Soft Rides could help while his feet grow out.

The size chart on the website has correctly sized all 3 of my horses and I LOVE MY SOFT RIDES!!!! My gray horse will literally pick his feet up and set them in the boots and none of mine will take their feet off the boots until I make them move. Chance got a pair in May 2012, a second pair in November 2012 and his first pair wore out about a month ago so I replaced them. We are on the road a LOT and he has put them through the wringer so I still feel like they're worth the money. The new boots seem to be a tougher material than the old ones. Clifford has had his since April and Joker got a pair in June and both of those pairs look almost brand new.

I've never found them any cheaper than the website unless I got lucky and found barely used ones in the right size, which has happened a few times.

Call them up! I didn't know which size would fit my mare better as she was kinda between two sizes ( and I'm horrid with my measurements); they sent me both pairs and I returned the one that didn't fit. They also sent a pre-paid UPS shipping label for the extra pair.
