I will get money (if I am lucky and one wins some ) for being the breeder and mare owner on all the ones I have people paying their foals in.

Who gets paid?



 



     70% to MP owner of nominated foal (on registration papers)



     20% to MP Dam owner (registered)



     10% to MP Breeder (listed on the registration papers)



 




 

It will help you by having the foal owners pay their own nomination for sure.  But if you ran your own horses also, then it would be even better for you.   

You have a lot of good points. And yes, the decision to nominate mares was because I have the 3 I plan to run myself. A 3yr, 2yr and yearling. Of course all have to be out of different mares.

That is about how it always works!

Location: Mare Estrogen Capitol of Oklahoma.		Well let me throw in my 2 cents. I personally am nominating! I have a filly that is headed to futurities! Obviously paying her in now since there will be added MP money where we are headed! Immediate possible pay back if she performs like we think she will. I have another mare we nominated who will have a colt running at several big futurities that are MP added money. He performs like he is now and I'm looking at immediate pay back and then some. From a selling standpoint I have proven producing mares! Which have foals in the futurity and derby world why the heck would I not give those people shopping for prospects a way to get more money out in the long run? And me some kickback for my mares being great mares.. Pretty simple..

Great program for mare and filly owners!!!
