I have two pairs of the Anderson Bean Horsepower square toes that will be demoted next. Very dangerous. You could slip thru the stirrup and be dragged. Please reconsider doing this. Crepe soles also dangerous to ride in. I'm a stuckler on correct riding footwear. Only leather doled boots are acceptable. I've never had a problem with my crepe soles slipping through the stirrup. They are a lot slicker than one thinks, especially more so than the fatboy ones. They are pull ons. My horse fell with me at a rodeo one time at left me sitting in the dirt by the first barrel. My boot was still in my stirrup..

These aren't wide and thick soles on my crepe soles. The reason why it was still in my stirrup was because it was rubberbanded in. I have plenty of room on either side of my stirrup and my feet are far from wedged in. In this pic you can see how much room I have on the outside of my stirrup. Extreme Veteran Posts: 595 Location: nj	UPDATE - I just found out that I can still get my Justin ropers. had a friend talk to the justin rep at the NFR and he said that I can just contact NRS or another Justin dealer and they can order for me. So will be on the phone ordering my original ropers with smooth ostrich bottoms. Man that made me happy!!!
