| I am looking for a joint supplement for my barrel horses as a preventative. I would like something affordable that works. There are so many different kinds out there I would like to hear what people have that works and isn't really expensive. Thanks in advance! |

Location: **Cactus Country down in South Texas*** | In my OP I think they are a waste of money, cause think of it this way you feed it and by the time they digest it they poop it all out. And really don't pick up anything from it. The only thing I swear by in injectable glucosamine, and a herb based supplement "STP (stop the pain).Start with plain glucosamine, if itβs your first time giving the horse a joint product, then progress to something including glucosamine and chondroitin sulfate, if just glucosamine didnβt help. But all those other so called joint supplements to me just go threw one end and out the other. But everyone is different.

| My 7 year old has just been a little off in the RF for almost a year. I took him in for xrays and he has a little minor arthritis in the coffin joint RF. Vet told me to come back 1 week later to have it injected. I started my horse the next day on tight joints plus. within 3 days he was 100% sound! 4 days after that took him to the vet and she refused to inject his foot since he was so good on the supplement. NOTHING else changed that week. it had to be the supplement . I was always an injectable believer to. But this product changed my mind! |

| Actually. I'm not cheap, just don't have the money to buy the powdered stuff and the real high expensive stuff. I go to wal-mart and I buy the glucosamin and concordant pills a two month supply. My paint is half retired. Has a bum front end. He is to stood up and his legs are almost to straight. So his joints have a lot of stress. At 14 its pretty sad too. When he is on these, he doesn't limp at all, gets around perfectly. Even runs around in the pasture and that's not something he ever used to do. |

Location: VA | In Motion by FAR! I know what's in it, why, how much, what quality and how it works together. It's formulated by an amazingly talented coach/trainer I work with . The only thing I've seen results with from a feed through perspective. There's a lot of crap out there when it comes to supplements. |

| I use AniMed Aniflex GL. I feed it to 3 horses and the 5 lb bucket costs me $45. It lasts me 1 1/2 months, approximately. I was using the Aniflex Glucosamine 5000, and I liked that, too, but one of my horses needs "more" and it's just easier to feed them all the same thing. But personally I love the injectable HA supplements, myself. |

Location: Sunny So Cal | THE JointPlus has worked best for me. First supplement that I have actually felt a difference in my horse. I have tried practically all of them and never had one where I could feel my horse be more limber. I was going to get him injected but now I don't have to anymore. |
