My husband has a coming five year old gelding that he bought a few years ago and now he's my current barrel horse (in the works). My husband bought him as a work horse with cutting bloodlines but I was looking at them the other day and was thinking "Hey, these aren't half bad!!" Way in the back on his Dams side is Sun Frost. What do you guys think?

Nice cutting lines on top - really like Peptoboonsmal and Freckles Playboy. Nice.

Thank you all! I remember a post a few days ago about the AQHA "Bottlenecked" article and someone mentioned Peptoboonsmal and High Brow Cat. I like the idea of bringing these cutting studs in the barrel racing industry. I have a acquaintance that has a High Brow Cat colt on barrels and he's real good, about my horses age as well.
I don't really know much about his dam's side though, not until it gets to his great grandsire. I heard that those Tyree's horses had good conformation and good dispositions but I can't really find anything else on them.

I love that whole pedigree!!!
Watch Joe jack horses are athletic!! Love Pepto lines but they tend to be a little on the onery side. The Playboy horses all seem to have speed. His pedigree reads like whos who in the cutting world and old time performance horses.
