| Anyone have one? Likes/dislikes? Seems like for his age he doesn't really have that big of a name for himself......what's your experience? |

Location: Where its cold and hot | He used to be owned by a breeder up here in MN. Every one that I've seen was drop dead gorgeous. Wonderful work ethic too. I would take a barn full of them. |

Were the ones you saw winning? Or running in the 1D? Or tough rodeo horses? |

| We have a mare, but she was purchased as a broodmare. She got hurt towards the end of her futurity year, and was sold the next spring to us as a broodmare.
Although I haven't ran barrels on her, she is a very very kind mare. I would take a barn full of them too. She is quiet, willing, friendly, etc etc. She produces great babies that have her same demeanor.
Being from Minnesota, I have been around a lot of his offspring and they are all like this. FWOI was only 30 minutes away from me, so they a bunch of them were ran here locally. I have a friend who is running on that hasn't even reached his full potential yet, and he has been running top 2D at bigger races with 200+ entries.
If you go to timberhaze.com you can find a page that lists a bunch of his winning offspring. There are plenty of them on there :)
IMO you cannot go wrong owning a FWOI horse. I think he is very underrated as a sire. Shoot, I had a 4 y/o by a FWF stallion that everyone ooohs and ahhhs over on BHW and I would prefer the FWOI horses to the other FWF stud.

Location: Oklahoma | I think Lance Graves had some futurity success on one four or five years ago when I was looking at him. I ended up not breeding my mare at all but he was on my short list. |

| I have a 12 yr old gelding that I am currently running out of Gunner (Firewater on Ice) and I could not say enough good things about him. We had a Flit Bar mare and then the Firewater on Ice was a great cross. He is a very well made, beautiful guy, even if I do own him. He has a great mind and loves his job running barrels. He never needs tuned on, he's a kind horse and also double's as my security guard! I have tried to find another not that easy to come by, I would not hesitate to buy one mare or gelding. Love them. |
