Location: Kentucky | RacingQH - 2013-12-07 11:05 PM I voted no. But then again, I'm not a barrel racer. :) What I would like is to have a horse I bred go to the NFR as a rope horse.
That's my goal as a breeder.... to get one of my foals in the hands of someone who will go on to the NFR. |

Location: Colorado | Honestly, no I don't. I am a homebody, and would hate to haul that hard. Also, I am such a worry wart about ground, I would never risk a horse of that caliber on trash ground. I think if you sat down and truly compare the expenses of hauling that hard, with just going to the big 4Ds, its not really worth it, from a purly money standpoint.

Location: BETWEEN HOT FLASHES AND GERITOL | I always wanted to run at the NFR. Then I'm really blessed I got to go to the NFR with my BFF Janet as her alley help. Let me tell ya the alley way there is the most dangerous place I've every been. I got to watch what those girls go thru, the weather and the conditions are not the best. I knew then and there if the Lord wanted me to go there he would have to do it. I'm really blessed to have been there and Im Thankful for the experience of it, and I got to ride Bo down the alleyway of thomas & mack on there practice morning. So all in all those girls go thru alot for ten days and I admire them greatly. But I don't aspire to go thru that again, and I didn't even run I was exhausted. |

| Being on the road 10 months out of the year is tough. One day I hope that I will have a chance to rodeo a full year with my daughter. If we ever made it anywhere as a team that would be a dream come true. Right now, I would like to qualify for the Reno Rodeo within the next 5 years. There were some local gals that had the chance to run in the performance instead of the slack..... I want to run under those lights and feel the crowd's excitement. |

Location: South TEXAS | I voted yes. i have a nice young horse that i think has the heart, grit, and ability to make it. she loves the rodeo atmosphere already and winning the 1d fairly consistent. will be entering a good bit in 2014 and my goal is top 40 at least and the circuit finals for this year. hope to have the qualifications to get in more stuff in 2015 and a really solid back up horse by then as well and make a go at it Lord Willing. it will all be in HIS timing.
i have dreamed of this for a long time and never had the horse i thought could take me there. now i do and we will see hpw it goes. i have no kids and a supportive husband. we are not financially backed, so this will a challenge but if its in God's will it will happen. |

Location: Missouri | Yes but not to run! ;) I have large plans for my business and if I could have a booth there then that would be all I need because I'd be pretty big!
For now I just want to focus on staying in the 1D with my mare and competing in our amatuer circuit and mastering that (we haven't rodeoed yet). I'd love to make one of their finals and traveling the local states would be enough for me and I'd be tickled pink if we made MRCA or URA finals. I think my mare has the parts to get there I just need to put them together properly!
Weirqh think Will can do it? You know her mommy and daddy ;) |
