There are a lot of Paint barrel horses where I live and I know the owners would be interested. I know I am as I just bought a super nice mare! We dont have any races slated for AR as of now, but if you have any that you would like to see approved please send us the info and we will see what we can do. PBRIP sidepots can be held at ANY race where there is a producer willing to host it no matter how large or small or the location. We would love to see this program grow and become Nation wide!

We would like to see this program active across the nation. Any producer that is willing to host a sidepot is approved so long as there is not another APHA Barrel event too close on the same day (we have not run into that problem as of yet). Other than that, race location and size makes no difference. |

Location: Tyler, Tx | WrapSnap - 2013-12-27 10:06 PM There is a local association who has several APHA horses running there that is always very open to adding new things and side pots, etc...I will be speaking with them about getting the PBRIP started there for the upcoming season. That leads me to a question: In order for PBRIP events to count toward World Show qualifications, what all is entailed?
If the race is PBRIP approved it will count towards World Show qualification. There are no extra steps or requirements to make it a qualifying show. |

Does APHA issue a certificate for ROM? The horse is SEEYOUINMYDREAMS He got 2 points for placing 2nd from 5 judges, so he should have. There were actually 10 horses in the class. One DQ'ed. Thanks. Alison Alison, I will call Karen on Mon for you. Hey, thanks. Someone pm'ed me that the horse has 10 performance points but it is not showing that he has an ROM. It info also does not show that he was Res World Champion.
Alison, often the points and awards take a while to show up in the system for any show and with the size of the World Show, I am certain they are still working on it but will double check for you on Mon. |

Thank you for this information. I will most definitely be in touch with some producers here locally and see what we can do. |
