SG. - 2013-12-29 4:18 PM I love this product! Seen it work on 3 different horses!
I'm so glad you commented on this post, I've been meaning to pick your brain about Navicular.  My guy is on the Equi-bone and Isoxuprine, do you think the PHT bell boots would make a difference as well?

Yes.  It increases the blood flow  The Bell Boots and this product work very well together

I have come to realize the joint supplements I have fed for years have basically been a waste of money as well... hense my questioning of this feed through...
I am beginning to think none of them work for me... and just feed and retire is cheaper lol

I've been feeding for almost 2 months, don't buy the powder... it's a mess and he seems to only love it some days.  I emailed the company and got a response right away about the feeding options.  He said that there is more options when using the EB w/ navicular horses.  I feed Triple Crown Complete and he advised that he felt comfortable leaving him on that.  You might call or email... great company to work with.

I've always fed the powder with no problems. Simply putting a sprinkle of water on the grain gives it something to stick to. My horses luck their buckets clean!

I opts for the powder because you get more doses.  It is messy but my very picky mare is eating it great!  I was hoping if she refused it that I could swap it for the pellets but I've never had to ask

Thanks! I've been mixing some water also, then it's a huge mess... maybe I'm just in too big of hurry.  I'll try water first, then powder... lol  I'm an airhead!  I opted for the powder because he's on Adequan and the fact that you do get more doses than the pellet.

I used the pellets on my navicular horse and saw a great improvement. However I was told to feed it with only beet pulp( the cal/phos ratio needed to be a certain amount), did that for 7 months until my horse started refusing to eat the beet pulp, he wanted grain but in that time it made him sound. I had an MRI done and he has a hole (quite large) in his navicular bone, so I am assuming that it started filling in. Can't afford another MRI to check and all his xrays have always showed clean even when he was extremely sore.  Can't hurt to try but it is expensive.
