| I think Ultium (Purina) and Triple Crown Senior are pretty low. I think the Senior is 11% (Triple Crown) Depends on what your horse really needs. If he is an easy keeper than probably just a ration balancer and good hay. |

Location: Kansas | I've been feeding SafeChoice Perform, it's a low starch grain and my herd has filled out really really nice since I started feeding it. |

Same here. And they seem to be a lot more focused at a show or when I'm riding. |

I don't know what the problem was....but the Ultium made 2 or our horses total NUTS. As in couldn't even ride around other horses on one, and the other would repeatedly pull back at the trailer if anything moved. Both were perfectly fine within a week of coming off the Ultium. That was probably 6 yrs ago or so, but I'll never feed it again. |

Location: Phoenix | I would think so. My horse is pretty lazy but can get hot (brain/mind-wise) in certain situations. He was on COB, but I'm switching him over to Renew Gold. I liked what I read on the website and talked to the creator and it seems like my horse would do really well on it. He doesn't need grain at all really, but he does need something for nutrition. I'll update you in 30 days when I head back home!! |

Location: Willows, CA | Lowering starches and sugars has more effect on some horses than it has on others. Imagine feeding your five year old child five candy bars and five Cokes and sitting them down to teach them something. Lowering blood sugar levels can help with focus. |
