What magazines do you guys subscribe to?
Does anyone opt for the ipad/kindle version? That would save a lot of clutter in the house.....

I only do Cosmo at the moment, but forgot how good the Western Horseman magazines are.  And I kinda want Consumer Reports!  Love that type of stuff.....

What about you?

I really like Barrel Horse News, Western Horseman, Mother Earth News and the one with the old west pictures and ranches I forget the name of it. I would go with the magazine. They need support from the sales to pay their writers and support advertising. Keep America working.

Great topic! I LOVE magazines but I have to have them in print...not on a screen. My eyes get tired too quickly reading much on a screen. I subscribe to Barrel Horse News(of course!) and Women's Health(my fav womens magazine) and Progressive Farmer(a little too high tech for me) and Taunton's Fine Gardening(great mag, tons of gorgeous illustrations), and Country Gardens(I'm all into flowers and gardens), and Consumer Reports and their cousin magazine Shop Smart. Consumer Reports is great for buying larger stuff like appliances and cars and computers but Shop Smart is better for reviews on food, groceries, vitamins, and just smaller everyday type products. I am currently in the process of subscribing to Mother Earth News and Hobby Farms....I LOVE that kind of reading. So thats my magazine review, lol. I LOVE to read but get bored too quickly with books. I like that you get to change the subject every page or two with magazines!

I don't know anything about it because this just reminded me to go look actually (lol). But I keep hearing about this site called next issue.com. Supposed to have a bunch of different magazines for one monthly. Fee with so many months free. Might be worth looking at something for everyone.

I saw the commercial for that too. It looks to be the Netflix for magazines. If I liked to look at magazines online I'd definitely do it but I like mine in print!

I just looked and it's reasonable. Unlimited plans range from $9.99-$14.99 depending on the number of issues you want available and your first month free. Kinda sucks because I keep hearing about it on a Canadian radeo station on my way to work but it's not available here.... I would love it. Has an app too. One magazine at the grocery store costs us $6.99 for Cosmo....

The ones I get are Barrel Horse News, Womens Health, and Clean Eating.

Hubby gets Spin to Win and several other roping magazines.

To avoid the clutter, the shelf life on magazines at our house is about 3 months. I do keep all the Clean Eating ones because of the recipes, but all others get recycled or donated.

Next Issue is great!! All your mags will download at once and they hae some great ones to pick from.  Excellent choice if you like alot of popular magazines. Next Issue app is better than Newstand on IPad.
