 Behind The Scenes 411
Location: In my HAPPY place | Hi,
I am on a local awards committee of a state association. I have worked with KO trading, Brandt Blanket Co and a few other places. Some of the unique items we have done are laser engraved wooden photo frames, photo albums, stirrup trophys, briefcase/laptop case to keep all your horses paperwork in, full zip bridle bags and lots of other fun unique items. :) Its been a few years ago, we had a local artist paint wooden keepsake boxes with the winning horses on them. Those were a hit. :) It just depends on budget and the people receiving the awards. This is a show horse association so bronc halters and stuff just arent their cup of tea most times.

Location: Kansas | I gave framed photos of the youth D winners in action one year. Bought barnwood picture frames at a going out of business sale and then made sure we got good action shots of all the youth. Those were a hit. We also gave Kroes Feet custom stirrups to the D winners that year, and runners up got either custom headstalls or tiedowns (one got a headstall, one got a tiedown because his horse is headshy and can only use a certain type of headstall, which I couldn't find anywhere) that we had painted by a local artist.
Cowgirl's Corral did some awesome shelves, clocks and barstools for the United Rodeo Association this year and the prices were really reasonable. I have also done embroidered travel bags, hay bags, gear bags, etc. |
