SO for quite a while now my fridge has been freezing food in the bottom two crispers...... we always keep it on the warmest setting and it STILL freezes things.... any ideas what is wrong with it? easy fix or do we need to get a new one???

It is a Kenmore Elite about 8 yrs.

So I had the same one, I no longer have it because of the pain it was.  On the side by side there should be a slide setting that should not be on meat, but rather veggies.  If it is already on veggies, they the control module has a problem.  They can fix it but it will need fixing again and again.  I broke down and finally bought a new fridge.  Had the kenmore for 3 years is all.

I would say worn out. Ours was about 15 years old and if I turned it warmer, it would run water down the back and sides inside and flood the bottom, turn it up just a teensy bit and it would freeze stuff. We bought a new one. I think I have saved in food enough to pay for the new one already.
