I was looking at Lubrysin to start on my 7 yr old as a preventative. Man, it is pricey. Is there another supplement that is as good that would be more budget friendly?

I would try Platinum Performance CJ. It is a complete supplement so you dont need anything else.

I really like Tight Joints Plus, great product and won't break the bank.

The JointPLUS is what I use. It is the best joint and complete supplement I have found. I used to use Lubrisyn on my old old horse awhile ago. Not sure why I stopped, maybe it was the price. We didn't put any of my other horses on it so I think it was because the vet told me to give it to her. not sure sorry I' m not more help.

This.
I used to use Lubrysin and loved it but I was feeding multiple supplements and when traveling or when I have my hubby or kids do chores for me that can be a pain. I switched to Platinum CJ. One supplement makes it so much easier.

Thanks. He is not having any problems now, but I was just trying to prevent those problems in the future. He is going so good I want to try to keep him that way for the long haul.

I use Lubrisyn and love it. I'll keep feeding it, i tried the tight joints plus and it didn't work on my horse
(he had two cm of weight bearing cartilage removed from his front fetlocks
). I was thinking of trying the platinum CJ but it's almost $5 per day to feed, so I'm sticking with the Platinum Performance and Lubrisyn.

$5.00 a day is too expensive for me, at least for a preventative for a horse without any problems. Thanks.

Have you considered an injectable? I have my 5 yr old in generic Adequan. It's about $20 a month. My vet recommended Cosequin ASU but its $60 a month
